My Gortex Walking boots are causing blisters

AI Highlights
  • - Boots blister heels.
  • - I'm approaching 72, and I walk; I have a left knee replacement and a fused ankle; I wear white trainers that soak in rain.

I now have 2 pairs of Hotter Gortex walking boots that I can’t wear as they cause blisters on my heels. I have tried wearing plasters on my heels until the boots are broken in but as soon as I leave them off I get new burst blisters which take a while to heal.

I am just approaching my 72nd birthday and like to walk every day to try to keep fit as I have a total knee replacement on my left side and a fused ankle on my right. I am at present walking in my white leather trainers which is not ideal because of the colour and they get soaked through when it rains. I would like to have your comments and suggestions and thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.

I have been a Customer for a long while and don’t buy my footwear from anywhere else. Kind regards Joyce Williams
