Hyundai Leasing Fails To Do Business Properly
- - Hyundai Motor Finance ignored repeated ADOT filings and fees.
- - ADOT sent notices labeling lease cars abandoned, affecting renewals and sales in AZ.
Hyundai Motor Finance ignored repeated attempts by the Arizona Department of Transportation to file required paperwork and pay required fees. For some reason, this company thought it was above state law while its dealerships were forcing car leasers into agreements with this company.
Then when problems ensued, the Apache Junction, AZ dealership management threw up its hands and said "not my problem." Meanwhile ADOT mailed innocent Hyundai leaseholders notices that their cars were considered "abandoned" and that these car owners could no longer renew license tags for their Hyundais OR ANY OTHER CARS THEY OWNED! ADDITIONALLY, THEY CANNOT BUY OR SELL A CAR IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA! The manager of this dealership could care less. Not his problem, just the problem of his poor, stupid customers.
The sale was over, so he'd moved on. None of his customers would be having this problem if it weren't for him shoving Hyundai Motor Finance down their throat. Heaven forbid, we discuss his commision on that!
You have to wonder, if the police pull over one of these cars, what will happen. Do not lease a Hyundai!
