My campaign has been successful...Horizon capitulated by refunding the demanded amount. Thank you pissed consumer... It's now been 6 days without a kept promise by your Customer Relations people - Marissa. Hoping someone in your dysfunctional customer service department has kept you up-to-date with my activities? Just think...had your people merely satisfied my request at the beginning, these actions would have been non-existent. Someone's too stupid to know they're stupid. LOL... ...anyway, I'm having fun at your expense...and still have more stuff to do...LOL (again)

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Campaign of posting this review in several places including social media...then consistently advising Charlie Haines, CEO that it would be so much simpler if he merely advised his company to honor their warranty and reimburse what was deserved. It worked.

Resolved...Campaign for refund successful... I am a 79 year-old senior, having been loyal to Horizon Services for over 18 years...it is unfortunate to publish to these pages advice that this company has become unethical & dishonest with me, and no longer holds the values that made them successful. (See BBB Complaint ID: 1851**** for details): I contracted with Horizon Services for a purchase and installation holding a fair market value of $385 as verified through the identical product purchase and installation in my Florida home, local DE competitor advice and Amazon product purchase with "local expert installation". Upon Horizon's definition of completion, I was presented with an iPad invoice at 5¾ times the fair market value...that included a charge of $400.00 to run 4 feet of wire that a Horizon Tech had previously removed. In addition, the Horizon Tech abandoned the project and left my home without fulfilling the balance of the contracted installation...the system did not function as promised. A letter to Charlie Haines, detailing my dissatisfaction due to Horizon's financial exploitation and inept installation...and demanding a refund per Horizon's "100% Satisfaction Guarantee", was forwarded to Horizon's customer relations person - Marissa. A telecon from Marissa brought empathy, promises and an indication I was speaking with the Manager of Customer Relations. Her promise - receive approval from the executive committee and call me back that afternoon. I waited two days for her return call. I called Marissa 3 times and was ignored, she refused to speak with me. My final call was to Charlie Haines CEO and was promptly connected to Marissa. Empathy disappeared, very weak disingenuous excuse with a promise to speak with the executive committee for approval...then with a promise to call me the next day. It has now been 4 days with no word, no call from Marissa. Marissa has provided lies and broken promises...and, by the way, she is not a manager as claimed. I hold several recourses for satisfaction...to be fair, I'll wait for a response to either this post or their response to my BBB complaint.

User's recommendation: The Horizon Tech did not explain the egregious charges prior to installation and did not complete the installation. Be very careful dealing with this company.
