Horizon not paying for life saving medical supplies doctor has ordered
- - Horizon has a NJ contract to cover Medicaid/Medicare.
- - I went without supplies almost 2 months.
- - Horizon hasn’t paid suppliers for overages.
Horizon has a contract with the state of New Jersey to cover all Medicaid and Medicare recipients using NJ Family Care and any state in the nation. I had to go without my medical supplies for almost 2 months or use medical supplies not meant for this or pay out of pocket $2000.
Horizon hasn't been paying medical supplies companies on accounts where patients have overages, that's the amount of supplies over medical and Medicare agrees to pay. So these companies stopped losing money by not supplying patients.
Well, Horizon should buy consumers all products they deserve by law. Don't buy from Horizon or contract your state Attorney General office and hire a private attorney or get legal services.
