AI Highlights
  • - Order 325495 placed 8/27; ETA 9/9; not received.
  • - Repeated texts offering more masks; order shows delivered but user says not received.

In regards to Hope Health Supply order number 325495.

placed an order on 8/27.

ETA was 09/09

Started getting annoying text trying to sell me more masks on 09/03.

Texted back - give me what I dont paid for before trying to sell me more.

The text dint go thru

Next day 09/04 another solicitation

So I called to say same thing - give me my first order before trying to sell me more stuff

Then she said you got it and I said no I will get it on the 9th

The. She said it was delivered and gave me a tracking number that said so

I told her I had not received it I was working from home on computer in living room and nobody knocked no packages were left on the porch no one even stepped onto the porch.

She said she would turn in a ticket?

That was 09/04. I called again on 09/08. I called you guys also on 09/10 to let Afterpay know what was going on, and my payment was available for the next day, but I was having problems with the merchant at the delivery. I called them again after speaking to one of your CSR that day.

I called again on 09 17. They will not transfer me to a supervisor they say theyre not allowed to. They will not process a refund because they said pandemic no returns.

My issue is that I dont have a return I never received the product. They are uncooperative.

I also have a chain of emails from them and myself going back and forth back and forth and cannot get a resolution.

Is there anyway that you can help me.

During these trouble times of pandemic, it is disheartening to know that there are companies out there praying on our hope of being protected from this virus, my promising to deliver protection and then refusing to stand by their word.

User's recommendation: Don’t buy anything from them

AI Highlights
  • - Fees ~$7,500 annually plus signup.
  • - Inflexible on class/university changes; EURES not offered.
  • - No refunds after a 4-year contract; direct uni apps save.

I have only bad experiences with HMI. They were extremely accomodating and pleasant when I signed up with them. The reason is that each new customer doesn't create any extra work for them, and still they charge ca 7500 USD per year in fees in addition to sign-up fees. I experienced sexual assault at the university I was admitted to. When I looked for options to change class by e.g. changing class or changing university (they cooparate with 2 universities), they did not accomodate me. Also, they refused me to use the EURES program, which is a service available to all other students. With this exchange program you can save approx 22000 USD. Also, the residencies they offer are of poor quality as well as limited to a few students, so you can as well arrange your own residency.

If they were a bit more flexible and accomodating, as well as actually offering some services, I would have been satisfied.

It's easier to apply directly to the university, and you save ca 40 000 USD

They also offer no refund service. Once you sign with them for a 4-year contract, there's no going back

Total waste of money

  • - HMI claims its program makes you eligible to practice in the US or Canada.
  • - Exams use BTs, last-year copies; cheating is widespread.

Hope Medical Institute (HMI) claims to offer medical education that make you eligible to practice medicine in the US or Canada. It's advised that you do some research on your own before you trust their statements as the road to practicing medicine is not that straight forward.

The universities they operate as agents for are also well known for substandard education, with a nearly 100 % admission rate as the main goal is to earn money .

Exams consist mainly of "BTs" (copies of last year's exams) and all students know it.

Cheating during exams is rampant and not much is done about it, except passing out A's to the most efficient cheaters. The rumors about how the universities operate spread, and not many employers want to hire students who may have become a doctor by cheating.
