Cant access account - no one replies to emails

We are looking to get into our account to find invoices of previous sales for auditing purposes. The person who last managed this doesnt work here anymore so we don't have access to any number that may have been used for set up and verification. This is quite urgent given the audit and I just want to be able to check the account for missing receipts which are needed. There is only a general email and online form for support - which we tried and the answer we got was that they didnt think the request was genuine so wont grant new access?! How is that possible? And there is no number? How can we get into our own account when we cant speak to a human?
