False advertising

I bought a Honeywell Home wi-fi thermostat because it advertised that the thermostat could be controlled by voice through Alexa. Didn't happen. Called tech support twice and spent an unreasonably long and unproductive time trying to get that to happen. Ultimately the tech support people wasted my time and blamed Amazon. I did try Amazon, but Amazon has its own Alexa linked thermostat and was no help. And they of course, did not advertise the link with Honeywell Home. So I was induced to buy the Honeywell thermostat by false advertising and I am not pleased. Since tech support is a waste of time, I went back to the Honeywell site for written instructions for the link-up. They are not there, of course.

Preferred solution: I want the Alexa Link up that was advertised and induced me to buy the product.
