Hondros

The instructors at Hondros appears unorganized and not professional at all. On Saturday August 18, 2012.

The students were locked out the classroom for nearly 2 hours, 1 hour 45 minutes. The instructor apparently had some issues and was unable to show to teach the class. The students were locked out of the classroom and sitting on the hallway floors outside the classrooms. No one notified any of the many students that class was delayed or possibly canceled.

Whatever happened to notifying a person if you are going to be late, a no call or a no show? A call was then made to the Columbus location by several students and its so unfortunate the customer care person that answered the phone had no clue that class was unofficially delayed and students were patiently waiting. A call was then made so that a sub instructor could show, Jennifer had no clue what was going on, then she turned the voice mail off to avoid any more calls from desperate. Finally, the instructor showed by the name of Al just read from the book as his way of teaching.

What the heck, the students could have read their materials from home, as a matter of fact, this class is so lame that it could be taken at home as an online course. This is unfortunate, because the students pay a lot of money to look at a person read from the same book. Many students invested $1400 to attend the classes and a phone call to at least to let the students know that classes will be delayed would have been courteous and respectful. Many students drove several hours to attend (1 to 4 hours) and had to sit on the floor of the hallways of the school is unprofessional and very unorganized.

The instructors are very, very boring and appear not to know a whole lot, and all they do is read from the same books that the students use.

There is no sort of interesting presentation, no handouts as a learning tool to help the students. Hondros Real Estate course and their instructors are a joke...
