I was looking for a used toyota Venza and found what a wanted to pay for it at this dealership
I drove from Houston and drove the car and I liked it but I could not figure out how to get it to Houston since I am single. They drove the car up and I signed the papers (a lot) and paid my down payment.
I was so easy and I believe the cost was cheaper than in Houston. I am happy I used Honda of Lake Jackson and I will someday use them again. The personal starting with the receptionist to the sales manager were wonderful people and very helpful. They financial person did it over the phone and explained everything to me so when they delivered it all I had to do was sign papers and pay my down payment.
It was simple. They had what I wanted and did not hassel me to buy it. Like I said I would use them again. Great Service!
I bought a 2013 Toyota Venza very clean car in great condition. I like it and it suited me and gave me leg room. I needed that and I am hoping it will save me on gas but any car would save me on gas since I was driving a 22 year old OLDS LSS which is the sporty OLDS Delta 88 model.
I am donating that car to my church for we have a list of people who need cars and just can not afford them like single moms, or military vets etc. I feel great about it for I have kept that car in great working condition and the men at the church has kept it running and will continue to keep it running for who ever they give it to.

These people are rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. I have reported the sales manager, Thomas Kercik, to Honda headquarters.
So far, we have had 5 months of their ignoring our needs to license THEIR leased vehicle out of state. They were well aware that I live out of state when I signed the lease. The person in the licensing department, Laura Pontius, never returned one of my numerous phone calls about the licensing. I had to do all of the research with the Texas licensing department myself.
In addition, I have signed four different lease contracts because of their mistakes, again because they had to figure out how to manage an out of state lease. As proof of their incompetence, they paid my first month's lease payment and the extra taxes they had not been aware of.
Thomas Kercik accused my son of lying and stressed that the licensing problems were "your [my] fault." Steer clear of Honda of Lake Jackson!
Preferred solution: No way, other than new competent management
Honda of Lake Jackson will sabotage your vehicle.
Bought a two year old CRV from them while they were still Reliance Honda. When changed owners no longer honored the first year oil changes free.
It was one of the perks from buying a vehicle from them that was actually put in the contract. I went go to get an oil change after the takeover and was told that a recall was needed on the ignition and they had the part in stock so it could be done that day. I agreed to that and just the oil change. I told them that I know my air filter needs to be changed but I usually do that myself.
I asked how long it would take they stated 45 min. Gave them the keys and got an jumped in my husbands car and left. Skip to 90 minutes and 3 phone calls to me saying that I need all these things done to the CRV after
I had initially stated that just wanted the recall and oil change done. Same BS with the other 2 phone calls from different service writers.
After the third call I am livid and go back up there to see why I am getting phone called for things I "needed" done and not things they were supposed like changing my oil. Get up there it has already been 2 hours at this point I ask where my car is and was told they got several state inspections in so they are trying to finish those then they will finish up mine. 45 more minutes pass finally get my car, look at paperwork double check just the recall and oil changed was done, pay and leave. The next morning I go to the grocery store when I go to start the CRV it sounds a little funny, don't really think too much of it I was the morning I chalked it up to the engine and components to being cold.
Needless to say I was wrong. I became stranded with $200 worth of groceries and a 18 month old. Called a tow truck had it towed to My Mechanic, called mom in-law to come scoop me the baby and half thawed and cooked groceries up. $700 later have a new starter.
Fast forward to 3 months later time for another oil change. I begged and pleaded with my husband not to take the CRV back to reliance for the oil change. He Didn't listen, husbands usually don't. ;-) The actual oil change process went smoother than the past one.
I thought I had renewed faith in them. Until the next morning I go to leave for a Dr appointment for my dad and the CRV will not shift out of park. Call my mechanic told him what was going on was told it was a simple fix and that it is rare to see the brake sensor go out on a vehicle especially one less than 4 years old and the fact it was a Honda is even more strange. Called for a tow again had it back a few hours later was shown the switch and the mechanic said that it had been tampered with by someone who is knowledgeable in Honda parts.
He said in his 25 years of service that he has never seen anything so shady. He worked for an American Brand Dealership for 15 years before he started his own shop because he didn't like the up-sale of services needed. He said that tampering with the switch took the cake. Total losses 2 tow @ $75 a pop= $ 150 New starter $700 New Brake switch $80 Total $930 Getting to warn people of HOLJ and their shady nasty scheming ways priceless.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! PS told friends what happened and every single one had a similar experience or knew someone who did.
Oh and I sold the CRV and up graded to a Toyota Avalon with a trusted dealership. I did my homework this time I never want to be screwed like that again.
