Verified Reviewer |Harassing, high-pressure, unprofessional sales tactics
Have not gotten the memo that people do not appreciate high-pressure, harassing, manipulative sales tactics. I submitted a general online inquiry via an online consumer-research site seeking pricing for a certain make/model of Honda in our area.
Immediately, I began receiving nonstop text messages, phone calls, voicemails, and emails from this dealership---I'm talking over 15 contacts in a single day, every day, for over a week, during the Christmas/NY holidays---with transparently manipulative and high-pressure sales tactics (eg, "You're about to miss out!," "This deal is ending tomorrow!," "What's holding you back?," "Can you come in today?").
When I replied that we were receiving far too many calls/texts/emails, they replied, verbatim, via text: "sorry that's what happens when you submit an inquiry." (I'd expect that response from an internet troll, not an adult professional.) My entire experience with Honda of Cleveland Heights before even setting foot on the lot was astonishingly unprofessional, and when I do buy a car, it will be from literally ANYONE but this dealership. Do not inquire or visit this dealership unless you want to be harassed and treated rudely if you dare to ask them to back off.
- Fulfills all stereotypes about car sales
- Harassing text messages
- Unprofessional attitude
- Harassing phone calls
Preferred solution: They need to reevaluate their entire sales approach, stop harassing potential customers, and apologize for unprofessional behavior.
User's recommendation: Avoid car-shopping here
2015 Honda CR-V Multiple problems
Purchased a 2015 Honda CR-V and at 1,050 miles, it has a serious drivetrain vibration while driving, rough idle, rear brake rotors are scored and noisy. I have recently come to find out these vehicles are pouring into the dealerships with vibration issues and there is currently no fix.
Also there is a engine connecting rod problem posted on the Honda website as a "pending recall" that will require a new short block. If that's the case, they'll be slamming motors into these vehicles in record time. Who would want that on their new vehicle.
Dealerships are being deceptive and not forthcoming that they know about these problems.
I know the game and i'll have to play. If you bought one, you'll have to give the dealership a chance to fix it.
You'll get all kinds of B.S.
and inconvenience, but stay on top of it and DOCUMENT everything. In the meantime, for those who are thinking about buying one.......DO NOT BUY A HONDA CR-V!
HONDA and non operating GPS
Dear Sir,
For year and a half I am a proud owner of HONDA CRV, Executive model, which among other things is selling here in Serbia with GPS system. Even more, when I purchase GPS the dealer charged me with some 700 euros for GPS. It comes to my surprise that when I tried to use GPS it did not operate. Upon complaint, dealer simply informed me that “GPS is not operating in Serbia but elsewhere in Europe is functional”. However, I am using car in Serbia, not in Europe in general! Ever since, there is no reply from dealer despite the fact that my Honda is still having warranty.
Sir, HONDA CRV was advertised as a model with GPS system, and I paid for it. It is evident that me, and many others, was tricked by dishonest dealer. I do hope that HONDA will do something to force dealer to fulfill their obligation.
Finally here is address of the dealer in Belgrade that sold me my CRV

Terrible service
To whom it may concern,
I am very disappointed with the problems I have encountered with my ODYSSEY EXL 2012 and even more with the treatment that I have received from the dealers every time I have asked them to check it.
From the beginning the car presented a noise, it took me several complaints and having my car at the Coyoacan dealer in Mexico City for about 4 consecutive times to get rid of it. Since then I also have had a problem with the air conditioner and a vibration that the car presents when I drive it on the highway at over 70 km/hr. this, I was unaware of as it doesn’t happen in the city. Neither of these have they been able to solve.
The employees there were unhelpful, dishonest and incredibly rude.
I decided to try another Honda and I went to Honda Pedregal, where I have reported the same problems three times and still I haven’t had a satisfactory solution. Today the employee will go with me to check my driving as he assumes it must be something I am not doing right that causes the problem.
I have been driving for 35 years now and that this is the third Van I own since 2002, and the second Honda. At least the employees here are polite.
I have been promised countless times that the car would be fixed and that there was no need to escalate the problem, however so far, I haven’t had a solution.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you,
Sincerely,
Lourdes Ortíz Velez.

Honda customer service complain in saudi arabia
I live in Saudi Arabia and have Honda Accord 2009
I made maintainance service for 100,000 and there was a problem with power stearing pump , the engineer told me that he replaced it under warranty, after 10 month the problem comes again and when I go to honda repair center again they told me that this part didnt replaced and only repaired then they ask me for a money to repair it again.
This means that the engineer lie when he told me that he replaced it.
Really I felt that all Honda agency is not honest and lose trust on them.

Overpriced Piece of Junk With Bogus Carfax!!!
I had previously purchased two pre-certified vehicles at Honda which I am absolutely satisfied with. So my decision to purchase a 3rd vehicle was based on my buying experience at Honda Motorcars. In March 2011, I purchased a 1998 "As Is" Honda Accord w/ 83K miles for my 19 yr. old daughter - paid $6600.00 cash. I understand the nature of buying a vehicle "As Is" w/o warranty, but this was after all a "Honda" with what was still considered to have low mileage based on the age of the vehicle. But the series of mishaps with this particular car lead me to immediately question the integrity of the dealership & to what extent Motorcars must have gone, in order to hide the numerous mechanical defects within this car.
Less than 2 months after purchase, May 2011 the check engine light came on and the car would periodically stall/shut off – although it would restart almost immediately. I returned the vehicle to Motorcars for further evaluation, the Diagnostic Tests revealed: catalytic converter efficiency failure, turn signal stalk loose, high beams not working, turn signal switch broken, rear tail light assemblies needed to be replaced due to condensation build up in interior lamp, rear stabilizer links & bushings worn. I was not happy and made my concerns known to the General Manager of Honda who offered a 20% discount off the repair bill which still left me w/ a hefty invoice of $639.00 - again, for a car that I had taken ownership of less than 60 days prior. This vehicle clearly did not pass the inspection smell test which Honda prides itself for!
Within 6 mos., Nov. 2011 there were more problems. I headed back to Motorcars ~ Diagnostic Test revealed: front sway bar bushings noisy, passenger side front lower ball joint had excessive movement in socket - replacement needed, rear brakes 90% worn - replacement needed, center motor mount & passenger side mount are weak, hot water valve broken. The estimate came back at another $639.00 - $463.00 would be for labor only. I authorized repair of the safety concerns; such as brake & ball joint. This time I was livid as this was beyond excessive! I am close to $1500.00 in repairs with additional repair needed! This car is literally a "Piece of Junk!!!" The odometer is still under 100K.
Yesterday, I learned from my insurance company that my daughters 1998 Honda Accord had been involved in an accident in 2009 which is not listed on the Carfax which I obtained from Honda Motorcars at the time of purchase. In light of this, I am now left to wonder if the Odometer reading is factual. This would certainly explain the never ending lists of problems and defects. This vehicle will soon be going to the boneyard with all its repairs and mysteries included. I will not risk my daughter's safety for a junk vehicle sold by whom I believed to be a reputable dealer. How many of your daughters are driving around in an accident waiting to happen???
***Also, I posted this complaint to the dealer customer review website on May 1, 2012 and verified its entry twice. When I checked the siteon the following day, it had been removed which is why I posted it to an outside site.
