Charged for work that wasn't ever performed
If you are in need of a complex job, please do not use this garage! I was told by Sal Lombardo and his garage that my engine needed to be rebuilt to fix an oil leaking/burning problem and to make a long story short, I was charged over $4,000 and my engine was never rebuilt. I took it to THE GOOD NEWS GARAGE (Cambridge, MA) eventually and they told me (and followed it up in writing) that my engine was never removed from the car, therefore never rebuilt and that in the opinion of the owner of that garage, Ray Magliozzi, I was a victim of fraud. ( If you have any doubt as to the reputation of this individual please do an internet search on Ray Magliozzi, if you have doubts, he has a national reputation, not just a local garage owner - he is part of "click and clack the tappet brother" CARTALK on NPR radio. I am in the process of taking all avenues open to me to recover my money. This is not a reputable business.
