Ordered $400 worth of books. Didn't receive. Much time passed. When I called repeatedly, I got a message saying the phones were temporarily out of service. I sent many emails and got no replies. We finally stopped payment. It was soon after that we suddenly received a package with no return address that we had to sign for. Inside was a scant group of books from Homechool Stockroom. And since we had signed for it, they could contest our stop payment and were able to keep our money. There are many reviews and stories just like mine online. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Order Shipping Review

Placed and paid for order on 8/1/14 was told it would ship within 2 to 4 weeks and my order still hasnt been shipped. No one responds to the 6 different messages i have left by phone and email.

Homeschoolstockroom.com ripoff

I ordered an entire school year kit from this "company" for my 3rd grader. The package of books came incomplete. When I got someone on the phone, she said she would have the books sent. When they came, they were damaged as if having been in a flood. Some of the "books" were just copies of books, hand stapled and put together by an individual. I strongly suspect that this is illegal. When I asked for new books to replace the damaged ones, the lady was extremely rude. I asked to speak to her manager, and it turns out, she is it. She is the sole owner of this operation, and the crooked individual who sends out this ***. I got no refund. I got no replacement books. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS WOMAN!
