Shady and incompetent

AI Highlights
  • May 2023 Weichert merger worsened operations.
  • Lease changes with a liability exemption; poor comms, repeated repairs, and move-out delays.

Only deal with them if you want to go both bankrupt AND insane.

It was a mediocre company to begin with, but after the Weichert merger in May 23, things have gone to *** in a handbasket.

Their company mission is to *** everything you do and ruin the customer"

Without my approval, they completely changed the lease format and started self-signing the leases after the Weichert merger in May 2023. They conveniently added a clause exempting them from any liability. That gave them the license to mismanage the tenant comms, dates and security deposit. And I got sued by the tenant.

Here is what you can expect:

Zero communication, evasive replies if any, excessive repairs upto the allowed limit every month, the same repairs over and over again, misleading the tenants with false promises and unsolicited "legal advice" , fat fingering dates, directing money to the wrong parties, taking weeks to inspect the property after move out leading to long vacancies, not taking move in pictures, below market rents...

When I bring these up for discussion, they either go fully silent or feign ignorance.

Do yourself a favor and build a hefty legal fund reserve if you decide to do business with them. You will certainly need it.

Loss:
$12000
Cons:
  • You will find yourself in a lawsuit

Preferred solution: Full refund
