At Homeland Estate & Financial Services, from the moment I first met ******* ***** and his wife ****, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Because, ***** & **** make you feel like family.
Someone who actually cares about me and my family.
Very Professional, and extremely knowledgeable. ***** was able to look over some older life insurance policies I owned. Previously I had been given some advice regarding the policies, and I was not sure it was correct or even the best advice for myself or my family, So I went and spoke with Mr *****. Sure enough, the advice I had been given was actually incorrect, and would have had some negative tax consequences.
***** listened to where I had been, where I was currently financially, and what I needed going forward.
They looked at: Current & immediate needs for family (example-Daughters education needs (Within 6 months), as well as my future needs-Retirement Goals, etc...******* ***** was able to advice me correctly, and save me from a huge Tax liability, had I listened to original advice I had been given.
I really appreciated the time and advice ***** gave me, which ultimately saved me and my family money. I am truly blessed to know them.

Inaccuracy Of Other Review !
I have worked with this person and known him for some years now. My experience of him is that he is open.
He mentioned this in his seminars, that the cause of the financial loss was his farming life and the 1982 Carter grain embargo. He mentioned losing $250,000 from a government action and forced to file bankruptcy. When asked about any of this information, he will disclose the facts.
I am shocked that someone who apparently did not do business with him, feels the need to post such information that has been explained and not what is said here. Ask him and he will tell you.

The experience was nothing short of wonderful. They discussed some very innovative ways to help me increase my savings and retirement that I never heard of from other financial firms. I feel they are someone who actually cares about me and my family. They are very professional, and extremely knowledgeable !Homeland was able to communicate complicated Estate tax issues in an understandable format.
They answered all my questions I felt I needed to ask honestly and i did not feel pressured into any immediate decision. I highly recommend them if your looking for financial stability & money management.

Stephen A Stack, a financial planner in Durham, NC is a fraud and a manipulator. The IRS is investigating him for fraud.
I checked and he has declared bankruptcy numerous times in several states for himself and his family. He has been married 6 times!
He has several customer complaints against him. Why his license has not yet been revoked is very disturbing.

Problem with Stephen A Stack in Durham, NC
I had the same trouble with telling Steve Stack to leave me alone. A background check showed he has declared Bankruptcy 7 times and been married 5 times.
He seems to have a lot of people upset with him. For the first half hour of our one hour meeting he bragged about himself being an athlete. For such an overweight person, I find this hard to believe. He said he was a best selling author, it checked out that he is self-published and bought his own books....he is not a best selling author to anyone but himself.
I have never met such an ego based personality. There are much better financial planners out there who are honest, legitimate and know what their doing.

Owner Stephen Stack has declared bankruptcy 6 times in 3 different states
the owner , Stephen A Stack, has declared bankruptcy 6 times in New York Virginia and North Carolina. The IRS put a lien on his property for years of non payment of income taxes. Do a thorough background check on him in any of these three states and you'll see it. Why is he allowed to be licensed to handle people's life savings with all these bankruptcies and tax issues? He has his brother in his company who has also declared bankruptcy several times and is a financial planner. Both brothers speak with great disrespect and dislike of each other. Not my idea of a trusted business and business relationship.
Both brothers have been married four times each.
I had to pay my lawyer to write him a letter to keep his hands out of my money and to have him stop calling and bothering me. Go with a reputable, safe and professional company.
