Homebridge

They got 149,000.00 in insurance money to repair my home that was burned down. We received 49,000.00 that helped to start clean up then they passed us off to Carrington mortgage services. My wife passed away and I had to enroll into forbearance to pay the mortgage. When asking for more money to continue on with our home Carrington foreclosed on us and Homebridge never sent the remainder to us nor did Carrington. Carrington sold my property with no home for 244,000. I paid 225,000.00. They stole my money and made more on resale with no home.

We sold our house on August 11th. Homebridge is the mortgage company with our escrow account that would need to be refunded. September 1st 2020- We call Homebridge about our refund for our escrow. We were informed their policy is 17 days after the close of the house. We were given the amount of the refund and that the check should arrive by late that week or early the next week. September 14th - Called Homebridge, we should have received the check by now, verified our new address and they would reissue check. September 29th- Had not received refund check yet, called Homebridge, checks are slow due to covid and may take extra time. Informed her a check was to have been sent over two weeks ago, she verified we should have received it. She would expedite this and see if a new check could be sent out. Again, we verified our mailing address. October 1st - Had not received check, so we called Homebridge again. Check had not be issued yet, but was going to be expedited. We are closing on new house on Oct. 9th and this refund check is needed for part of closing costs. Was going to expedite this and get a check issued. To call tomorrow afternoon and they would have information on check being sent out. October 2nd - Called Homebridge, check not issued yet, would have check issued and overnighted by Fed Ex, call tomorrow for tracking number. October 3rd - Called Hombridge, Check has been issued, but did not have a tracking number for it.Should receive check on Monday by Fed Ex. October 5th- Did not receive Fed ex package. Called Homebridge, should received today or tomorrow (tuesday) did not have tracking number but did give a Fed Ex confirmation number 33C1005 October 6th - Did not receive check. Called Homebridge. No refund Check has been issued by Homebridge. Would expedite and have a manager call today. Well no manager has called us today or tonight. I should include that during these calls on these dates, it was never the first call, we would have to wait 35 to 45 minutes for someone, who would hang up and then we would have to make the call again. Overall we were hung up on 12 times. So in essence, we have been hung up on multitude of times, lied too a multiple amount of times and still no payment. We are having to liquidate some funds to we can pay for our closing on October 9th.
