The customer must pay the shipping cost to return defective merchandise. Also read the other charges they can read = ie they may not refund their shipping charge and they will charge a hefty restocking fee, repacking fee, etc.

This companies policies and customer service are terrible. I purchased the ooma telo online, was told by their rep that this unit would work for us at our rural location. Long story short, this product has many issues if you have one line of service coming into your...

My sister had a consumer cellular phone for a few years. She rarely used it but when she did, she was always having trouble getting a call through . I ordered a second one (should NOT have) after another phone I had was no longer working. The phone did not hold it's...
Ooma customer support is terible

I have had the same issue and called customer support 3 days in a row. Each day they assure me it is all fixed.
But it is not. My preferences are set to only roll over to my cell phone in case of an outage. However, even if I am not on my Ooma phone, it is ringing a few times and rolling to the cell phone. Then it cuts out and sometimes the caller calls back.
In addition, since their call center is in the Philippines, it is hard to understand some of their English.
So I would not recommend Ooma. Maybe Vonage is better.

Over the past 3 years I've had three Ooma devices, ALL of which have failed, the most recent in less than six months. Customer service tried to dishonestly refuse to replace the most recent failed device despite a clear one year warranty. The Ooma devices are not...

We got this as a gift and tried it for a few months before realizing that the need for anything other than our cell phones and skype occasionally was pointless. Tried to cancel initially and they gave me the whole '3 months free for you to sell your device' shtick... I...

I bought ooma home phone device from a stall at Indian Food Land store, chinguacousy road , Brampton , ON, Canada. Due to delayed voice during calls to India/bad voice quality I closed the account within a month with Ooma and returned the device to the same agent at...
