Home Grown Puppies SCAM and PUPPY MILL FRONT

This place is such a scam. We paid a deposit for a King Charles Cavalier that they sent us pictures of. After paying the deposit I noticed all the complaints about "bait and switch" so I asked to be assured that the puppy in the pictures was the puppy we were purchasing as we were making a 4 hour trip for the puppy. They ignore my emails and would not answer my question so we did not make the trip. They have not replied to my numerous requests asking for a refund (they assured us the deposit was refundable for any reason). I did more research and this place is disgusting and their puppies most definitely come from puppy mills. This is definitely a lesson learned and I should have done more research. I don't want others to make the same mistake.

THE REAL OWNERS NAME IS COURTNEY LONGMAN AND JOANNE NORRIS. MIMI A.K.A MARIA ESTHER IS AN EMPLOYEE WHO IS RUDE AND VERY BAD LIAR.

THAT PLACE STINKS, THE PUPPIES ARE FILTHY AND THE DEPOSIT THERE IS NOT REFUNDABLE THEY WILL SELL THE PUPPY. THEY GET THEIR PUPPIES FROM PUPPY MILS!! BEWARE THESE PEOPLE HAVE BENN AROUND IN MIAMI, FT. LAUDERDALE AND HALLANDALE.

ALSO DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE SCANDAL THEY HAD IN HALLANDALE? TERRIBLE!

BUYERS STAY AWAY!!

STAY AWAY from this pet shop! I purchased my puppy 8 months ago. The store advertises they sell their puppies with the pedigree papers. THAT IS A SCAM!! 8 months later and I still have no pedigree!!! MIMI, supposedly the owner, gave me a phony phone number for me to get the pedigree on my own. On top of that, a week after I brought my puppy home he had gotten kennel cough at the pet store and I was never told!! Again STAY AWAY from this pet shop!!!! Search for an honest shop where you will find purebred healthy puppies.

BUYERS BEWARE

Home Grown Puppies located at 2179 SW 1st street Miami Florida uses bait & switch tactics. They advertise puppies on their website that they do not have. The store is filthy, the puppies they do have in cages are dirty and the store has a terrible odor. When I called to come see a specific dog they advertised on their site they advised, yes the dog is in our store now. I drove 1 1/2 to see this puppy only to find out their scam of bait & switch, hoping once you are there you will buy another dog. There are 3 different people who answer the phone (2 men & 1 women) when you call any of the numbers listed on nextdaypets. The store front is basically a place to sell dogs from a puppy mill. I felt it necessary to warn consumers about this place.

I read someone mentioned their dog had breathing problems,and another said their dog would not stop coughing. That is interesting to hear because the woman that answered my calls regarding the puppy I wanted, was coughing non stop horribly and had a sick scratchy voice.She also sounded out of it. I had a funny feeling about this place and now i am seeing all these posts from people about sick dogs etc...

I am soooo glad I found this website page with these reviews because I was planning on buying a puppy tomorrow morning for my daughter from this pet store. I would of been so upset and disappointed to find out the truth later

I had a totally different experience, I bought an adorable cavalier spaniel, totally healthy, place was clean and the people there were very courteous and helpful. I needed an international health certificate since I live overseas, they got me in touch with a certified vet and I had no problem with the permit at the USDA office. Very satisfied customer.
