Worst Company EVER

This is the worst company that I have ever had the displeasure to work with. ANSWER YOUR PHONE, READ YOUR EMAILS. Pathetic You will go out of business if you can not get your company together. Meet your commitments, I promise to meet mine of never ordering from you again!!!Why provide a customer service email address if you never respond to emails? Why provide a customer service phone number if you never answer the phone. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! You should be ashamed of how you do business. I AM ON A MISSION TO MAKE SURE NOBODY MAKES THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE.

Home Furniture Mart in CA - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

THIS MERCHANT IS A RIPOFF!!! I bought a $1800 TV entertainment unit in November 2009 that look very good in pictures and seems to be at a good price. But what good is the price if the quality of the furniture is *** and the customer service NON-EXISTENT. It took almost a month to get the unit. I paid for the Platinum service to get everything assembled, but the delivery men told me that they are only obligated to spent 1/2 hour in assembly. I had to negotiate with them to complete the assembly. The problems with the furniture were immediately apparent. I put it in the delivery acceptance report and contacted Home Furniture Mart the very next day via email with description and pictures of the problems. 2 weeks later - no response. After 4-5 phone calls and more emails over the next month, I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Finally I got some action. It's now March 2010 (5 month later), the adjuster from a furniture repair place showed up and immediately agreed with me that the major parts of the entertainment unit must be replaced. He wrote a report with yet more pictures and sent it to the Home Furniture Mart. It's been 2 weeks already and still NO RESPONSE from them. I do not hold much hope of ever getting anything accomplished. $1800 down the drain. LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ANYONE contemplating dealing with this merchant.

Heart rate shot up when we saw an Uttermost lamp here at $158 while elsewhere it’s $316 generally, but saw 1 at $284. We’ll spend $284 and avoid the $158, “bargain,” headache with obvious Shylock.

Definitely the WORST company I have ever dealt with from start to finish. We ordered a dining room set that came 7 weeks later than promised with pieces still missing.

Every single item that we did receive had to go back because it had grease stains, water marks, missing studs, glue on the table surface. The list goes on and on. The "white glove" service left us with all of the items that we expressed needed to be returned and we were told we needed to schedule a separate "pick up" date. So for several days we had furniture filling 3 rooms, torn boxes and foam pieces every where.

After being asked to send pictures to Homefurniture Mart, the delivery company finally picked up the pieces 5 days later. The furniture manager never returned my phone calls but we were told we would receive a full refund within 24 hours of pick up.

It has been over a week, several phone calls later and we're still waiting for the refund. I will never do business with this company again.
