Hollingsworth Auto Sales Raleigh NC

This auto dealer sold us a Chevy S10 1998 * speed. Upon test drive all questions were asked. Were told that all new filters were included, fresh oil change and no problems. 2 weeks after purchase reverse quit working. Contacted dealer and he sent us to a transmission shop that insisted the clutch was bad. We replaced it but the problem still persisted. 1 week later the fuel pump quit working. Upon contacting the dealer he insisted we were breaking the truck ourselves to not have to pay for it. We put $4000 out of $4800 down in cash when we purchased it. Today the truck would not start. 3 months after purchase. Brought it to a mechanic that verified the vehicle was a flood vehicle. The dealer knew this and also had the transmission shop keep quiet about it also. The clutch was fine. The syncronizers are caked up with mud and show flood damage which would have been seen from any transmission shop. This dealer is only interested in getting the rest of his money, and refuses to assist.

i bought a car from hollingsworth auto from wake forest nc and as soon as i purchased the car two weeks later the check engine light comes on. well i put a new gas cap and drove for 150 miles and the light stayed on.its still on today.

a week later the car over heats and the dealer so called fixed the problem with both and as i drove away. the car still overheated and the light came back on. well it didn't stop there. 4 months i drove the car this way.

i carried it for a oil change and they showed me a list of 3000 dollars of stuff wrong with the car. i told the dealer and he said they were only trying to take my money. well i have had the car almost a year. after 1300 dollars of trying to fix this car and i have paid this dealer 3000 dollars of car payments.

i still have problems with this car. it stays in the shop more than it does at my house. so what can i do.

i still owe 2000 dollars more of a car payment. wow!

My youngest daughter ventured to purchase her first car without me. She did reviews, checked the car fax but didn't know to check for little things like tires, inside of the trunk, etc.

She made the purchase, drove off the lot and 4 hours later was sitting on the side of the road, tire blew out! Spare was also flat. We contacted them and the owner said, Oh yeah, send her up here, we;'' fix it. I made it clear, I was concerned with all the tires.

She went up there and was handed two tires, they didn't even have the courtesy to put them on for her. The place that did put them on said tires were definitely unsafe. When we called again, we were told we were harassing them. Upon further inspection, trunk was full of water from a "minor rear impact".

We just wanted them to make it right but were told policy is "as is".

C'mon, like a 19 year old girl knows what she is doing. Are you a dad????

Very shady people here. Their cars may look good but they get pieces of *** cars with trannys about to go out, northern rusty cars etc etc.

Dont let the good prices fool you!

Read the reviews!! Any positive review will be someone that works for them.

Offered the owner a price and instead of trying to make a sale by saying my price was too low, the owner instead insisted on belittling and ridiculing me. I wouldve bought it for 1k under the list price if he had been decent about it.

Good thing I didnt after I saw some of these reviews. Go elsewhere!
