Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic - Charged for room when unoccupied
Original review Jun 16, 2022

I reserved a room directly with Brittney at the hotel in May. I said I was arriving on 6/8 at about 3am.

I arrived around 3:39AM and I was told I did not have a reservation. However a room was available @ $153. Plus taxes only $3 more than what I was quoted. I am handicapped but no handicapped room.

I put my bag in the room and went down for a shuttle to the hospital for my 7:29 appointment.

While there on Thursday there was no room service and. Was told by maid on floor it was not her side of the floor. So I had to call front desk for toilet paper and coffee. I then went to the front desk to pick up the toilet paper and coffee.

When I checked out I noticed I was charged for a room on 6/7 and did not arrive until 6/8.

Front desk clerk said he was the manager and I arrived early and charged me for using the room stay. I then asked for Hitel General Manager.

He rudely treated me in a wheelchair and said he would only charge me $75 for a vacant room to store my luggage.

I said no thanks for ripping me off. I observed the manager rudely treating two young foreign ladies at 10 am telling them they had to wait until 11am to check in to an almost empty hitel NEVER STAY here
