I took my car in for a state inspection in the morning on 8/6/24 and was told they were booked up. I inadvertently left my cell phone on the counter and took a second trip to retrieve it.
Upon arrival Bill told my sister who retrieved my phone that they should be free to inspect my car after 3:00 pm. Upon arrival on 8/6/24 around 3:00 pm I arrived at the Hogans and Sons Goodyear in Winchester Virginia and Bill was not there. An unknown employee with no name or Goodyear shirt waited on me. I told him what Bill had said about availability after 3:00 pm.
He cited Virginia state inspection rules that its first come first serve. I told him I was aware of the rule and reiterated what Bill had said. He said they were completely booked up. Then he said he would make an exception.
I was pissed that Bill, who had gone to lunch, had not shared the 3:00 pm time with him. I said I was done with Goodyear because I felt I had been lied to. When I asked unnamed employee how long it would be, he said that I said I was done and he was no longer willing make an exception for me. We exchanged words and he told me to get out of his store.
He called me a *** This person doesnt need to be working with the public. Or at least he needs further training on how to work with a disgruntled customer. He refused to give me his name and ordered me to leave his store which I did. Ive been a Goodyear customer for more than twenty years and have never been so abysmally treated.
Will someone please deal with this issue?
