Poor costumer service
Tech showed up looking intoxicated and was very rude. Blood shot eyes and stressed. Not happy with service.

New machine under warranty, however, hobart refuses service call because I live in a residential building and they say they do not have insurance COI. Hot water booster does not work.
Beware!
$6K machine and it is useless. Will have to throw out.

Preferred solution: The heat booster fixed and the ($965.) I paid an independent repairman to fix it refunded to me.

Lack of tech support
Over all I feel like they are good people but I feel like they are understaffed when it comes to tech support. Waiting on the phone for over an hour for help trouble shoot their equipment is not the way to treat customers, ever. This is directed toward management.
Won’t service our location!
Our dough machine stopped working now they are denying us service because our machine doesnt have a metal guard around the bowl. Which has never been a problem now theyre saying its safety Canada that is denying them the ability to service our machine, but if we buy an 8000.00 dollar guard from them they will service it.
Not including labour which they charge 300/hour very disappointed with this company considering they have serviced us for years but now it against company policy. Seems like a scam to me I guess Ill just learn to do it myself or find someone local to service their product!!!

Hobart equipment is average, but the company restricts information and probably is guilty of many restraint of trade laws by its actions.
Don't Buy Hobart Equipment if You Need Support!
I recently purchased a Hobart/Adamatic oven Model AAD-C-303 from a private seller. Unfortunately the sale did not include a manual.
A google search was not successful so I TRIED to call Hobart to get a little help from them about wiring. What I encountered was the answering system loop from ***. Could not get to a real person and could not get to any department that would help. While I think that generally Hobart products are good I certainly would not recommend buying one if you even thought you may need some help or technical support.
