Greedy Hotel During Coronavirus Ban

This hotel refused to return our money when we had a reservation from 14-March to 16-March. When they refused to return our money, we asked for a simple date switch so we could visit our friend in Lucerne at a later date. Nope. I wrote them a very nice letter explaining the situation and how we wanted to come, but the Coronavirus ban was stopping us from flying. They said they needed the money because they were a family business. When I pointed out that moving our dates wouldnt cost them any money, they still refused. This is not a company that cares about its customers or customer service. In a time of panic for travelers about to lose hundreds or even thousands of dollars on services not rendered, they were quick to take our money. I think they should be called out for their selfishness!
