Dishonest, incapable and inept!
The service department is incapable of fixing an Apple Carplay bug. This error has dogged me for more than 5 months, I've brought it in 8 times; the error continues to reemerged. The service manager Stan Fields told me he'd order a new infotainment package and he told me to bring the car in last Wednesday, I did. I picked the car up Thursday evening and when he demo'd it, the error occurred again but it went away. After I pulled off I noticed I had the same radio presets. The service manager lied, he did not installed a new infotainment package; I couldn't believe this; he had me waiting for two weeks with this problem and he never ordered the infotainment package. Anyway, the error happened again with the dinging noise looping; this past Monday, I went back to Stan Fields office and of course he was out until Wednesday. Since then I've contacted the BBB, VW corporate customer service, the Attorney General and I'm working with a private attorney about the lemon laws here because this is a 2016 Beetle, with only 2,560 miles on it!
