AI Highlights
  • - I was promised $50 for a 30-min interview.
  • - I completed it.

Finally received an email with the long overdue promised payment for services rendered. Don't give up and give in. Constant pressure and utilize every forum to get them to realize you are NOT going away and this WILL escalate into a bigger problem than simply paying up and honoring their end of the deal.

Original review Dec 06, 2025
I signed up to participate in a paid research interview with Highlight Insights, Inc. after receiving a written invitation stating I would be rewarded $50 for a 30-minute virtual interview.
My interview took place on November 10th from 2:00 PM 2:30 PM and I completed it successfully.

I have full documentation including the original email that promised the reward and the calendar confirmation.
Now it has been more than 30 days with: No payment No answers to multiple follow-up emails No status updates of any kind
After searching online, I found other participants with the same issue promised cash incentives for interviews or product reviews that are never delivered. Several reviewers report that after the first successful project, any future compensation disappears.
This appears to be a pattern of non-payment and poor communication.
I am filing complaints with: Better Business Bureau Insights Association (Ethics Enforcement) Consumer watchdog and review platforms
I am requesting Highlight honor their written promise and deliver the $50 reward owed for my time.
I will update this review with their response if any.
Loss:
$50

Preferred solution: THE PROMISED $50 PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED WHEN I COMPLETED THE ONLINE INTERVIEW (MARKET RESEARCH FOR KIDS PROTEIN SHAKES)

User's recommendation: If you choose to participate with Highlight Insights, Inc., be very cautious when cash incentives are promised. Make sure you save screenshots of all offers and interview confirmations, and do not rely on receiving payment promptly — or at all. Several participants, including myself, have completed paid interviews and then been ignored when attempting to collect the reward. Until Highlight improves reliability and communication, I recommend avoiding any assignments where compensation involves money rather than just free product samples.
