High Desert River Outfitters - Inflexible

I purchased a Groupon type package with High Desert River Outfitters for use by Sept 20th. Unfortunately, soon after the package was purchased in July our grandfather was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. We have spent all summer dealing with this tragedy as a family and haven't had time to take advatage of the rafting package. I contacted the owner of HDRO to explain why we were unable to take our rafting trip. I was told in no uncertain terms that there was nothing he was willing to do! He's got my money and we got no trip!
