- - Spinach and red pepper quiche eaten Sunday; minutes after cooking, severe allergic reaction with swelling requiring A&E care through Tuesday.
I bought a spinach and red pepper quiche on Saturday 28th. On Sunday I cooked it as per instructions.
Within minutes I felt my hands burning and extremely itchy soon after my face and tung swelling eyes and throat closing up.
Was taken to A&E till early hours on Tuesday morning, they think it was an anaphylactic shock or an allergic reaction
