We just got delivery on our new Lazy Boy recliners which we ordered through Susan lefevers at Hickory Park furniture. The price was almost half of that at the local Lazy Boy store and custom delivery went smoothly ( no delivery fee... no tax) This is our second order through Susan and she has always been professional and attentive. Our first order was unacceptable and Susan got it turned back and reordered quickly. Furniture buying is easy and less expensive dealing with Susan at Hickory Park. Junk sold by hickory park furn. gallery, built by lane

47,426 NEW PEOPLE SAW LANE'S REFUND POLICY TODAY, THEY ALSO HEARD HOW WE WERE TRICKED INTO SIGNING A CONTRACT EVEN THOUGH WE PAID CASH FOR THE JUNK WE BOUGHT FROM LANE.THEY WERE TOLD ABOUT "LANES" RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAGS ARE STILL ON YOUR FURN. CAN I BRING IT BACK OR WILL YOU HAVE IT PICKED UP? Thousands will see this letter to you tomorrow, I am very determined to get my wifes money back and get Your junk back to You, if You want to fix this junk ok but, resell it to someone else, better yet throw it in a dumpster. Folks if Your reading this on Sat. May 28, 2011 on many facebook accounts just remember and keep the words LANE CUSTOMER SERVICE on the tip of Your tongue, this may help keep You from making the same mistake my 62 year old wife did. Remember lane furn. your furn. still has all tags on it and, has not been used, we just want our money back. I have bought furniture from Hickory Park many times. I checked their BBB rating and it was A+.

They represent the best names in the furniture industry including Hancock and Moore, Harden, Classic Leather, Century, and Hickory Chair.

These manufacturers would not sell them if they were not a quality retailer. I had one problem with a delivery and they more than took care of the problem...great customer service :)

lane furn. damaged and unsuitable from hickory park in hickory, n.c. Filing a new complaint about bought a sofa/loveseat at furn. mart/ hickory park furn in hickory north carolina was going to take 6 to 8 wks to arrive.Paid in full.furn. came in damaged and badly built even though we paid in full an should have only signed a charge slip hickory park slipped a contract in under my wife's hand saying we couldn't get a refund and that we had to allow them to repair, ha ha where's a politician when you need one.I will be contacting the fraud division of the attorney generals office next.todays date is may 20 2011

Very unhappy with Hickory Park. I bought a CR Laine sofa from them based on the photo of the sofa. It looks nothing like the photograph, and in fact the photograph hides the very features about this sofa which make it so ugly. When dealing with Judy Miller, I stressed that I wanted a firm and resilient cushion. I got anything but. As soon as the sofa arrived, I was horrified and figured I"d been "yes'd" to death just to get the sale done. At that point, I figured I was sunk because it's a custom sofa, and I assumed there is nothing that can be done. Sofa was used by one person for five months.

I happened this week to respond to a solicitous email by CR Laine, expressing my anger and frustration with the sofa. I didn't think it would even get to anyone, but someone from CR Laine did respond right away. She told me she agreed about the problems with the style and to cushion and that I'd been sold the wrong cushion if I'd asked for a firm cushion but that I had to go back to Hickory Park to "file a claim".

I did that and spoke to Brett Cribb (Phonetic), who was rude, made it clear they had no intention of helping me no matter how deceptive this sale was, and he hung up on me. "We can't help you" was his refrain. The store that sold me this sofa "can't help me." They don't stand behind their sales and in fact are rude to their customers. Hickory Park got $1500 for me for a sofa that was throughly misrepresented by both CR Laine (who acknowledged the photo is not accurate) and Hickory Park, and they're just not going to give up that $1500. "We got your money. Just try getting it back."

This was not a matter of my changing my mind, for which I would have taken full responsibility since that would have been my own personal thing. This is a matter of the sofa not being represented well and the customer being misled. This company may be great so long as there are no problems or only minor ones, but they're rude and refuse to take responsibility, as the sales agent for CR Laine, when the only reasonable resolution is a full refund and a return of the sofa.

Terrible customer service. I think they're motto would be more appropriately be, "We got your money. You got stuck. Nothing we can do. Click."


Been buying from HIckory Park for years, Accoring to the lone complaint they sneak paperwork underneath so the costumer signs it? Sounds like a story to me.

Why reference hwy 321....most of those stores are out of business. Wonder why? Maybe their policies and customer service were bad not to mention their BBB rating and unresolved complaints.

HIckory Park represents the best local brands in the industry with Hancock and Moore, Hickory Chair, Century , and many others .

Those are reputable companies! :)


After reading the complaint above I did some research before purchasing at Hickory Park. Don't most smart consumers or am I the only one? Google!

1) They have been in business for over 25 years. Don't think they would still be in business if they always "took advantage of seniors".

2) They have been a member for 20 years and have an A plus rating at the Better Business Bureau with no outstanding complaints. You can't achieve that without great customer service

3) Extremely happy with all my furniture and will refer and be back.

Hickory Park furn. gallery sold my wife and I some lane furn.

junk, paulinhky either works for hickory park or is a relative of someone who works for hickory park furniture gallery.They have a condition of sale paper that takes all of Your rights away from You as a customer.If anyone wants to see some lane furn. that came from hickory park furn. gallery just leave Your e-mail on here and a request for pictures and a copy of the condition of sale.I will also be glad to send this to Mr.Paulinhky if he asks, weather he is a friend or relative of hickory park furn.I would never hate anyone bad enough to refer them to hickory park furn. gallery.My understanding is that all or most stores in the Hickory Furniture Mart has this condition of sale paper, "Caution" do not sign.We went up and down 321 and never crossed a furn.

store one that had this condition of sale. :zzz I think customer service is the most important thing when dealing with any store, if they have a condition of sale that say's NO REFUND don't do business with them.


I have bought furniture from Hickory Park for now over 20 years. I did have an issue with my sofa...

but they got a repair guy to come to my house, and it was all fixed. I have had my lane sofa now for over 14 years and it still looks great. I have referred all my friends and family to buy from them, and they have all been very satisfied with the price and the quality of service they obtained. Sounds like someone was being difficult....

and I dont think it was Hickory Park. I hope all is well though.
