All I wanted was a car for 3.5 days in the Washington D.C. area. Instead, Hertz took 16 hours from my life that I will never get back. Because they accepted my bid from Priceline for the rental, I was treated like ***. Due to various reasons I've had to cut my leave short, and needed to return my rental car early. Once I got through to the Frankfurt office the kind gentleman in that office informed me that due to the fact that I pre paid the rental car online, I will not be receiving ANY refunds from my rental even though I'm handing in my car 5 days early, and I'm giving them 3 days notice. I rented a car from Hertz on Dec 12, 2016 and returned it on Dec 30, 2016. They charged an additional amount along with the payment from my insurance company and on Jan 3, 2017 was charged an additional amount of $32.75 for use of EZ Pass. I called and told them I did not go over the bridge on 12/21/16 in the evening. They told me it showed on the EZ pass that it was my charge. Hertz took out a extra $357.00out of my account never got it back. Been fighting to get back since Oct 2016 it was a mistake they shouldhave never went into my account they had my Visa card because i had to giive to them

I needed a rental car after my car was involved in an accident. My insurance doesn't cover rental so I had to pay out of my pocket. Nonetheless, I asked my insurance company for a referral and they referred me to Hertz. According to the Hertz receipt, I checked out a car at 7:43 am on 1/9/2017 and returned it at 7:30 am on 1/23/2017. The total rental duration was therefore 13 days 23 hours 47 minutes. No cars available in Atlanta...Gold level customer with a reservation. Waiting line at Gold Service both is 25 deep and not moving. Time to call my travel agent and see if National has cars available at ATL tonight.

I rented from the Hertz Rent A Car 7212 Cedar Springs Rd · (214) 350-7071 in Dallas Texas and originally opted for the Never Lost service. However, the unit was mounted too far over to the passenger side of the car and I was not able to use it and eventually used my GPS service on my cell phone by mounting it on an air conditioner cradle close to the steering wheel. I booked and prepaid for a full size car at Salt Lake City airport. After the agent tried to sell me unsuccessfully all kinds of upgrades, I found out that my full size rental is a VW Passat. Are you kidding me? The very own VW.com lists the Passat as a midsize car. Crooked company
