Poor service, lies and dishosty

Dear Sir-

On 8/19/20 I contacted Heritage Hyundai in Towson, Md to purchase a 2020 Elantra SEL which is posted via CarGuru for $13437. My sales agent was Ibrahim Kassim and Greg Lineberry (who portrayed to be a manager).

At the beginning, I presented the CarGuru ad to Ibrahim only for him to tell me the car was first a brand new car. He then pullout a 2020 Elantra SE (wrong car) for a test drive. He changed to the story to the SEL was a demo car with miles. I offered to purchase the demo pending the number of miles.

Ibrahim stated the car was in service department and he could not locate the keys. I asked to see the manager and in walked Greg Lineberry who stated he would provide the mileage. After waiting 30 minutes in Ibrahim's office while watching them goof off at the front floor desk, I walked over and told Greg my family and I were leaving. He then stated the car was not there at the dealership but offered another car at a higher price.

I informed him that I was prepared to pay cash that night for the car in the ad. As of today the car is still posted on CarGuru for the same price as mentioned above. Also there is another car same color and near the same price. I spent three hours in your dealership with the hopes of buying a car and received lies, dishonesty and unprofessionalism.


FYI recently purchased a Hyundai for my wife a couple of months ago.

I bought the car because of its warranty, safety and price. The subject purchase is for my daughter who just completed college.

I am extremely disappointed in the service, salesmanship, and the lack of honesty from your store.

I don't understand how or why the dealership is falsely advertising a vehicle they don't have in stock. I will share my story with others who are interested in buying a car from your dealership.

i do not understand why any dealership would keep sending or referring a buyer back to the  dealership they bought the car from after everyone within the dealership knows !!we sold!! the buyer a Hyundai vehicle in absolute !!!!!!excellent!!!!!

condition. the buyer bought a car that we sold them that came directly from the manufacturer. for any !!!hyundai car buyer-customer!!!!  to be referred to your Hyundai dealership in towson who is !!fully aware and knows!!

!!they've just fully inspected vehicle!! !!vechile had excellent parts and all parts were in excellent condition!! sends the buyer to your hyundai dealership to have something fix extremely minor repaired and be given back a car that sounds like a !!!total!!! piece of *** and whose parts at only 34,000 miles look extremely worn driven.

!!sold at only 34,000 miles!! second, when buyer politely and respectfully questions what happen to the vehicle by numerous in management at your location be consistently referred back to the dealership who just sold the car! wrong the dealership sold buyer an excellent car!! so stop it!!

the vehicle was brought in there for a simple 30 minute repair. who ever peggy in service be allowed to lie several times, stated there was no other vehicle similar to buyer's vehicle at 34,000 miles on your lot so it can be compared to buyer's vehicle. peggy instead states she test drove a vehicle that had 45,000 miles and in your shop for repair which was no comparison. more disgustingly peggy states well what can we do, there's nothing we can do, again take it back to the dealership, there's no way of proving it!

let me say it again peggy stated, there's no way of proving it! stop sending buyer back to the dealership who are not disgustingly dishonest as some of the people at yours!!!!! what ever you did to the vehicle, it was not given back in the condiition it was brought to you in!!!!! and the fact you had two other vehicle on your lot exactly like the buyer but lied saids alot about your dealership!

i advise every customer going there !!!!! take pictures of your brand new or parts in excellent condition!!! mark your original parts!!!

 stop blaming the dealership who sold the buyer the car!!!! its car dealerships like your who give auto industry a horrible name and misreprsent great manufacturers like hyundai!!!!!!!!!!!!!
