Wasted Time
I scheduled an appointment to see a specific car on Black Friday which the dealership confirmed. I drove over an hour to get to the dealership.
I arrived for my appointment right on time. After several minutes of waiting, I was told the car had been sold. The salesman tried to sell me a new car... classic bait and switch.
When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told the car I wanted to see was not sold and had been taken home by a manager and if I waited they could get it back to the dealership.
Shouldn't this had been done before I arrived at the dealership. I drove away saying I don't want to do business with these people.
Look, as Herb Chambers says, buying a car shouldn't be this stressful.
