Hendersons Group Investments

We bought 2015 with the promise of payment 6,000 per year payable in Jan of 2017 we cannot get ahold of anyone at Hendersons Group or RSI and have received NO CONTACT at all! Is this a scam?? How can we get someone to contact us??

We also purchased a time share through Cabo Viejo in 2015 with the understanding that The Henderson Group Investments would pay the $4800 for the 4 weeks we didn't use. This was supposed to start Jan.

2017. We are still waiting for the money and no one responds through the email correspondence. We thought both Cabo Viejo/Residences at LaVista along with The Henderson Group Investments were legitimate companies. We have other timeshares in Cabo San Lucas that we purchased through reputable timeshare residences and didn't realize that we are possibly scammed from this timeshare.

Any other remarks/experiences?

Like fools we "purchased" Registry Select while visiting Cabo Viejo in January 2015. The hook was them buying our timeshares and applying the $$ to discount Registry Select. We thought we were getting a timeshare, but in reality we were getting a password to a website. Shame on us.

Another part of the deal was Henderson Group marketing our 2 weeks of Cabo Viejo, and giving use about $4000 per year. When I called Henderson Group a few months after and asked when they were going to send the $$$, they said it was already 2015, the property was already marketed and they would market on our behalf in 2016, and we would get the $$$ in January 2017.

I did a Google Earth on their address and it is a building in Austin, Texas. I don't know if there is an actual office or if it it some relay station. If anyone lives in the metro Austin area, can you see if it really exists.

I suppose the long of it all is "will we get 444 in January 2017?" We see conflicting reviews, but who knows, Henderson may be the author of them.

Anyone else have thoughts to share?

I signed up with Hendersons Group Investments for a 48 week contract for them to market and rent my timeshare weeks. I signed the contract which was pretty standard after a brief explanation of the outlines and the promised benefits.

Hendersons Group Investments put a lot of effort into outlining the legitimacy and effectiveness of the timeshare rental product that I was signing up for.

The contract was basic and very transparent there didn't appear to be any sort of loopholes or traps written into the contract and it was written in clear English that allowed me to follow the contract and know exactly what I was signing.

Once I signed all the paperwork and everything was in order I left the offices and waited for all of the promises to come true and for me to start raking in the money as promised. I waited and waited and after 3 months the cheques started rolling in on a monthly period as promised and I was not unhappy in the least. If I had to complain I would say that it took a little longer than predicted to get the ball rolling but now I am very happy and I fully 100% recommend using Hendersons Group Investments.

Make sure you deal with the Hendersons Group Investments based in Cabo San Lucas to avoid timeshare scams were companies pretend to be something that they are not i.e. stealing the identity of other successful businesses like Hendersons Group Investments.

I just want to thank the staff at hendersons group investments for all of their assistance and really helping my husband and I out. For so long we were stuck with 3 grand mayan weeks that we could neither rent nor sell and it was a really helpless situation with seemingly no way out.

Thank god we found HGI, we are now renting 2/3 weeks through them, and they advised up to transfer the remaining week for another week.

Basically we traded-in for a better deal at a better resort. We have literally recuperated thousands of dollars thanks to Hendersons Group Investments and I want to thank the team for all of their effort.

I was talked into signing a contract with Hendersons Group Investments while at a timeshare presentation at Cabo Viejo (doing contracts under Registry Select International). As added pressure and incentive to try and obtain the sale at Cabo Viejo, the scam goes as this: Cabo Viejo offers to buy your current vacation plan from you through 3rd party, Hendersons Group Investments, if you buy at Cabo Viejo. Pretty much like a trade out of vacation plans. They offer you a price higher than what you originally bought your plan for so that it is enticing. While at the presentation, you sign a contract with Registry Select (or other names as they change it through the years like Select Registry, etc) for Cabo Viejo property usage and then a separate contract with Hendersons for the sale of your current vacation plan.

The catch after they have roped you in is this: you must first pay for all of Cabo Viejo up front and then supposedly Hendersons pays you for your vacation plan 45-60 days later after it goes through the sales/liquidation process. On top of that, they also request you pay additional fees direct to them for the cost of marketing, property liquidation, closing, etc. Of course, not until too late, after Hendersons drags lies and excuses on and on for why your money is being held up (90 days later, 180 days+, a year later, etc), do you realize what a scam they are. They have an entire story made up that unfolds as time goes on & they continue to delay paying you for your property sale. While their story is quite good and they have the scam pretty nailed down, it starts to get pretty apparent that they are not intending on paying you. And the excuses too of why they cannot produce for you contract extension documents, or that you must "speak with someone in finance for an update", but yet no one in Finance will ever field your call lead into the mistrust. After a year of weekly follow ups with them to remedy the contract and payment with no services delivered, they finally ran out of lies and admitted to being a scam when I confronted them the last time.

They also try to portray an online social media presence to pretend to be legit, but if you research further into it, you start to see through the deceit. Consumer protection fraud filings have been pursued on this company and their associated partners.
