Charging for medical help for a state inmate
My husband is in the Henderson County Jail in Lexington, TN. He has lungs problems, he has even been approved for SSI. He is supposed to see a lung specialist ever few months and hasn't seen one over a year. He health has gotten even worse and they are refusing to take him to the hospital to get professional medical attention. When the doctor up there does see him they don't do anything for him and just to check his blood pressure they charge $20 every time. I draw SSI every month and try to help him but its expensive. So something needs to be done about it.
