Beware of descriptions, they don't list the problems....

I recently bought a boom lift & scissor lift from Hendersons. The scissor lift was not intentional, I bid $8K but my comp was slow so by the time it registered the click the bid was at $12K, the bidding then went on up to $15K which I was quite relieved by because I didn't want to pay $12K for a scissor lift, all of a sudden they seemingly cancelled the $15K bid and the machine was sold to me????? Why did the unit not get sold to the person that bid $15K?? (didn't realize until I received it that it was covered in stucco which the pictures did not show) The boom lift seemed like I was getting a good deal until the truck driver arrived to deliver it. He said they had a very hard time to get it started and there were major safety concerns while loading it. The men that were loading it were making comments such as "this thing has been sitting in the bush for 3 years not running" and "there is a reason why this is getting sold, it has major issues". I have since found out the block is cracked & it will need head work. this will cost me $5 - $7K to get repaired. Why was this not listed in the description if it was know it had issues????? I complained once to Henderson & they said they were sorry & they would look into it, I have never heard back from them & they have never responded to my follow-up emails. That seems a little harsh on a first time customer who will have to spend over $5k on his purchase just so he can use it. Quite frankly, I will not be visiting a Henderson Auction again. I buy $200K per month in equipment & haven't had a problem quite like this before.....

Only a dumdask would buy a piece of equipment online without inspecting it and then file a useless complaint on the web. I think its called "Buyers Remorse".

Henderson Internet auction scam deceptive description

Recently purchased two travel trailers from Henderson Auction in La. They were 500 miles from me and I could not inspect them in person. This was an internet auction and Henderson knew most buyers could not personally inspect these trailer. I relied on the photos and Henderson's description. I paid top dollar because these trailer were in excellent overall interior condition, according to Henderson. One unit was in excellent condition but the other one is a nightmare. The electrical panel was removed with the wires cut. The shower has no water barrier around it and the floors are completely rotted on the appliance side. The mold and mildew smell will knock you down. Not what I would consider excellent overall condition. There is no recourse, according to Jeff at Henderson's auction (www.hendersonauction.com) He said they stick their head in the door and that is their inspection. So buyer beware Henderson's description cannot be relied upon. If you cannot inspect these trailers in person DO NOT BUY ONE. Jeff told me they bought thousands of these trailers and they have only had fifteen or twenty complaints not bad, unless you are one of the fifteen or twenty suckers. I have the US Government certificate to obtain the title Henderson,s purchase price was $588. Correct five-hundred and eighty-eight dollars. I paid $3,000 each. One would think, there is enough profit for Henderson to make a reliable inspection and accurate description. As a taxpayer I have been doubled screwed, the Government all but gave the trailers away and Henderson Auction deceptive descriptions. SO BUYER BEWARE

You really bought a travel trailer off the internet from an Auction Company that listed them in various conditions without inspecting it. I sure hope your wife took your internet access away. :eek
