Verified Reviewer |Hair clog to ceiling leak
The technician (Austin) removed hair from the drain. He saw water gathering around the pipe connections and mentioned it was from his trying to break passed a curve in the pipes working through the bathtub drain.
I asked him to seal the water at those openings because I didnt have a leak - the wooden floor behind the unsealed walk looked fresh. Somehow, the subject was changed.
The water drained better before he left, but returned to the clog-like problem some time after. The next morning I noticed a big ceiling leak downstairs and put towels down. I called HELP to seal the compromised pipes but Melissa said I signed a waiver and there would be a charge to come out for other than the clog.
I asked for fairness in the lack of professionalism that would have alleviated me from now having a bigger more costly problem. You can see pictures of the 2 pipes that now collect and leak water unlike before the tech came.
- Seem professional
- Look for services to charge more
Preferred solution: Fix the leak their tech started without further cost.
User's recommendation: I will try to use some flex seal to temporarily fix my new problem. BEWARE of waivers that can cost more expenses through carelessness. Secure a company that stands by its brand. Good luck and God bless.
