I have the same issue. I don't have Venmo so I took the gift card option.

After inquiring several times, I was told on June 9, 2021, that they are "Working on it and apologize for the delay". So annoying.

Twice sent $0 balance gift cards

Re: the update asked for-they are still refusing the gift card although they do verify I won. The BBB saw the same screen shots and agreed with me-it does show a $0 balance on the gift card, they reopened the case after closing it due to Hello World claiming I had no proof.

After back and forth with the BBB and Hello World and also not getting anywhere, they closed it the second time as unresolved.

After 4 months of hassle and not getting anywhere with Hello World, I strongly doubt they will make good on my win. I have all the documentation, the winning email, the email with the link to the $0 balance card, screen shots that have been asked for, follow up emails etc.As a side note, Fresh Step, who had the contest and hired this incompetent company to run it, also refused any correspondence-again, even with all documentation.

Within 6 months I had 2 small wins in instant win game. Both times I received a $0 balance gift card.

The first was Dunkin, which the local manager at Dunkin accused me of trying to scam the company with a bogus gift card. I contacted Dunkin,, since Hello World didn't respond and Dunkin made it right.

The second was the Fresh Steps instant win game, Hello World sent me a $0 balance link to a gift card, and they refuse to give me a link with a balance-although they do verify that I won (have the verification email). Hello World has copies of the screenshots showing a $0 balance. Fresh Step is also blowing me off.

So twice within 6 months is not a coincidence, nor are these, I assume, isolated incidents.

I have heard other complaints, (esp. Dunkin) with the same issue.

I won a sweepstakes run by this company, Bad Boys for Life Experiential Trip for two (2) to Miami, Florida. I was supposed to receive a trip to Miami, DVD's and various other prizes, The sweepstakes ended January 31, 2020.

I accepted the prize and completed all paperwork in February. It is now May 12, 2020 and I still haven't received anything. I have written to Hello World several times. The responses always tell me that their prize delivery has been delayed due to COVID-19.

Most recently, I was told that the prize winner has 1 year to book the Miami trip, so they have 1 year to either set up the trip or offer me an alternative. This company is awful I don't know why Sony chose them to administer this.

Hello World Not Delivering Prizes On Time or Ever?

Concern that they are putting out these contests for consumers to participate in yet not delivering the prizes that have been won when they are supposed to. I'm assuming the companies sponsoring the contests are paying for the prizes -- yet HW is not sending prizes to the winners when they say they will or possibly at all?

I'd hate to think that clients are sending HW for money to buy prizes -- and HW is just keeping the money and not giving consumer winners their prizes.

I hope their issues get straightened out because I have enjoyed their creative promotions and am a customer of the brands that have emailed me to enter their contests. Winning and not receiving a promised prize is not fun.

Good Morning or Good Afternoon to You!

How is your day today in sunny Pleasant Ridge, Michigan and/or Southfield, Michigan and/or wherever else You are in the World?

My day could be going much better, thank you, except due to the FACT that I am Very Angry And Upset Over Your StarbucksForLife.com Game Program!

First Of All, You should have One Website to access this game instead of having 2 different websites which is NOTHING but an Inconvenience!

For Your Information: I have spent thousands of dollars at Starbucks, and I am NOW in Brasil because my apartment is being built and have NO PLACE TO STAY in Los Angeles and am staying with my friends here until it is built which won't be until around June 1st, 2016.

Sadly, if I buy any drinks at any Starbucks in Brasil, then I can NOT get any Game Pieces since they do NOT participate in the program.

For Your Information: I still have over $50.00 dollars on my Gold Card with Starbucks by the way, but why should I spend it in Brasil if I am Not Going To Benefit From It In Getting Any Game Pieces In Order To Participate In The StarbucksForLife.com Game going on ONLY Until January 11th, 2016 I believe.

Please NOTE: All I want to do is Receive Several Game Pieces in order to play the game.

For Your Information: Your website says that you Can Get 2 Game Pieces Per Day even if you do not buy anything.

That is False because I just tried to do that and still have RECEIVED NO GAME PIECES AT ALL!

One More Thing: Before I left Los Angeles for Brasil back on December 20th, 2015, I was already participating in the GAME and did have some Game Pieces already on the Game Board that I have earned.

However, I am Unable to Access My Original GAME PIECE BOARD Containing My Game Pieces Already Earned.

I therefore had to CREATE ANOTHER PROFILE for the StarbucksForLife.com Game.

This is NOT FAIR TO ME and YOU have purposely prevented ME from Participating In The Game and YES, I am VERY ANGRY AND UPSET OVER THIS!

Enclosed, near the bottom of the page, please find an automated response letter coming from your company for the same complaint that was currently filed through the StarbucksForLife.com website, along with the proof of me registering on your StarbucksForLife.com Website for a second time unnecessarily for your reference and further review.
