Raw deal
After years of being a customer who always paid for the propane service from Hellers I called them to see if they could lower my budget payment. They did and then I asked them what the rate would be for propane as of that time, about 3 weeks ago and the quoted me 2.69.
I then decided to check out prices at other companies (which I have the right to do) and found that the others where quoting 2.29 which is a big difference over the period of a year.
To make along story short I decided to go with another company that offered me 2.29 capped for 2018 and 2019 and the first full up at1.99.
I then called Hellers and told them that I was switching and was told that I was already getting a break and that the company I was going with was just offering that deal just to draw me in. Then a few days later they called me back and offered me 2.29 plus a 300.00 dollar credit for the year if I switched back.
I said no but mean time they already had 155.00 of mine and said they would return it. I have called and called and no one will answer my calls to find out where my money is. It is going on 4 wks and still no refund. They haven't come to get their tanks and it is all out of spite. I would not recommend Hellers gas to anyone. No just because of the money but because of the very poor customer service.
