Horrible Photographer
I used Heather for my daughters 3 year pictures. Her website advertised the $150 session for children to include 2 hour photo session, 12-13 edited photos and disc of photos.
We only received a 30 minute photo session and she was unprepared with props or anything extra for the pictures.
Than when I received the pictures I only got 20 pictures and none of them were good smiles with my daughter (who cooperated beautifully during the session)! I contacted Heather to see if we could maybe redo some since I didn't get any genuine smiles of my daughter and since we only received 30 minutes of photo session and I had paid for 2 hours???? She said SHE thought the pictures were great and wouldn't do them again. The 2 hour thing is only for kids who misbehave, is what she also informed me of as well!
I tried communicating with her that I'm the paying costumer and if I'm not satisfied with the product she should work with me...it doesn't matter what SHE thinks. And furthermore I didn't even get what I paid for!!!! I paid for 2 hours of her time and she only provided 30 minutes?! She was rude and uncaring when I brought this to her attention.
STAY AWAY!!!!!
She doesn't provide what she advertises! And she won't work or try to correct the issue if your unhappy in any way!!!!!

I run a pony ride business and rent out my pony to photographers. We were scheduled to do a photo shoot yesterday.
I text her in the morning and told her the barn was pretty muddy and my pony was pretty muddy too because it rained all week. Heather asked me to wash my pony in the rain yesterday ( May 22nd) while it was still raining. Nobody in their right mind would wash any animal that lives outside while its pouring outside! One that did, would need their head examined.
She reminded me she wet to vet school, thank goodness she switched professions.
Heather then writes a bad review on my pony ride FB account because I refused to wash my pony and continue with the shoot and because we had to reschedule , she wanted me to do a free photo session because a couple clients couldn't do the 7th of June.
I was very upset that she wanted me to give my pony a bath. I kept telling her the roads and barn was muddy but all she kept telling me it was suppose to be sunny tomorrow.
I posted on my FB that she acting rude, cruel and inconsiderate on my personal FB page. As if no one has never complained about anyone. I didn’t post her name or business. If the roads are wet and muddy, how am I suppose to get to my horse trailer?
She didn’t care if I got stuck in the ditch?
Heather posted to me that she saw what I posted in FB. I am entitled, especially when some one asks me to do some thing ***. I would never ask anyone to come out if it meant risking the welfare of any animal.
This is Colorado and the weather is very unpredictable. Its not like I can controls it.I kept an eye on the weather and it was not suppose to rain so much during the week but it did, all day Thursday and Friday. She called me irresponsible for waiting till the last minute. She is my client and she has her clients.
It goes both ways. She could have easily contacted me to see what we will do about the photo shoot but she is blaming me. I was more than willing to reschedule her photo shoot but she was asking me to do two different days but she couldn’t afford to pay for both days. I bet she doesn’t offer photo shoots for free?
If she did. You wouldn’t stay in business that long. I found out she booked 15 clients in a 4 hour session? When she booked me in the past ( two other times) she booked about 6 clients in the 3 hour session back in June and Aug of 2014..
Who is taking advantage of who in this? All because you didn’t want to pay her for two photos sessions? Isn’t that a little rude and and unethical on her part? Cramming that many clients and my website clearly states I only offer 3 hour sessions.
I feel 4 hours is asking too much for my pony. How do you expect a pony to be that tolerant? She surely doesn’t know any thing about animals and I am glad to she dropped out of vet school. You would have sucked as a vet.
I think what really got me was the fact she wanted me to do a free session on the 14th, but yet she wanted the 8 to 12 time, same as today's session that should have taken place, but I was agreeing to move it to June 7th, If she only had 3 clients that could not do the 7th, why would she need me from 8 to 12?
Its because she was going to try to book a full schedule again and not have to pay me for it.
She pre charged her clients $150.00 each, 15 X $150.00 is $2200.00...she was paying me $450.00 for the 4 hours. So, if she booked another , lets say, 10 more clients at $150.00 X 10 = $1500.00, she would have made over $3700.0 and I would have had to work a total ( 8 hours per session, totally of 16 hours for $450.00.) It takes me an hour to get to my ponies, and hour back to the photo shoot, then the 4 hour session, then the hour back to the barn and an hour back. I also gave her a huge discount in my rates since this would have been her 3rd sessions and I waived the trip fee.
My normal rates are $350.00 per hour and a $100.00 for each additional hour plus a $40.00 trip fee, would come to $$690.00 a session. It all comes down she is a greedy inconsiderate person that cares only for herself. I blocked her on FB, then she had her boyfriend try to fiend me. Then threatens me because I have photos of the shoot on my web page.
On June 15th, 2014 she gave me permission to post them on my site. I sill have the text to prove it. I also have her photography page on my site, to show where the photos came from. I never said they were my photos.
She is now harassing me on a photo prop page and her photography page. I at least never posted her name or her business. She doesn’t see that what she did was wrong. I canceled because the weather was bad.
I offered to reschedule, and she didn’t want to pay for the two days she needed.
I don’t feel I should offer a freebie when it was the weather that caused us to cancel.
