Munchkin Boilers suck. Had one installed 6 years ago.

3 years later a valve went bad. Of course we had out of state company at the time. Two weeks later another valve went bad. 6 years later the heater exchanger cracked.

It was under a 12 yr warranty. So that was covered. But not the digital display that it ruined or the labor. Three weeks later no heat or hot water again.

No display again or error code. I am guessing the control panel now for over $1000.00. Most likely ruined by the cracked heat exchanger. An unreliable piece of ***.

We replaced an old GloCore that was a money pit thinking a new Munchkin would last. The are just as bad.

Very simple- I paid 8,000.00for an Heat Transfer Product Contender Munchkin wall furnace and only 3 years later i'm dishing out 800.00 because the computer board failed. They only warranty their product for 1 year.

For that kind of money they should honor it for 5 years!. Next time I'll buy a cheap chinese alternative and it will be the same exact quality as this "made in US" piece of ***.

The sad part is they won't respond to letters, calls or emails.

bad customer service equates to bad product. Buy something else.
