AI Highlights
  • - No one at any number given to me could help.
  • - All heard of the program, but no one was in charge.
  • - Nat Grid said the program is now closed.

No one at any number given to me could help. All heard of the program, but that was it.

No one responsible, no one in charge. Called every number given to me; no one could help.

Called Nat Grid on the following Monday, said the program is now closed. If an elderly person cannot get help, who can?

User's recommendation: a scam

Racial Harassment on the Executive Floor

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Worst place they've worked; alleges racial harassment by executive floor staff, lies to the supervisor, and ineffective white leadership.
Original review updated Apr 11, 2023

The worst place I have ever worked is Heartshare St. Vincent's Human Services in Brooklyn, NY.

"Heartless" would be a better name for them. I was subjected to racial taunts by ethnic members of the staff who worked ON THE EXECUTIVE FLOOR AT 66 BOERUM PLACE and were telling vicious lies about me to the supervisor, as well as insulting me with snide remarks about my being white. The white leadership there is COMPLETELY useless. They want so very much to look like they're these open-minded, "woke" liberals that NOTHING was done to stop the harassment of a white employee.

Instead, the second in command tried to turn it around on me for being white, assuming I knew nothing about blacks and their history, when in actuality I knew more about it than she did, as was revealed during a discussion with the incompetent woman. It's a truly disgusting place and unprofessional place to work, it's a disgrace, and it's a total lawsuit waiting to happen because all of these nuts, the black racists and their white enablers, need to be stopped in their tracks.

I just hope my taxpayers' dollars aren't going to fund this abomination. As for these people being involved in the placement of foster children, which is part of their mission, let's just say I'm glad I'm not an orphan in their clutches!

Pros:
  • Sometimes free lunch
  • Convenient location
Cons:
  • Clueless
  • Nasty
  • Unprofessional racist coworkers

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Do not work here!

Incompetent Administration Allows for Reverse Discrimination

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The organization is described as incompetent and badly run.
  • - An executive made discriminatory remarks about the reviewer's race.

This organization should be called "Heartless Human Services," not "Heartshare." They are as incompetent as it is possible for a group ostensibly dedicated to helping children and other unfortunate people can ever be. One of the very top executives in this ridiculous, badly run organization made SEVERAL snide and discriminatory remarks to me because my race is different from hers.

She should shut up and mind her own business - but isn't capable of it. The next thing I knew, I found myself "reported" to my supervisor who had been LIED TO about me, almost certainly by that same reverse racist, and told that I had made "derogatory remarks" about HER race - WHICH HAD NEVER HAPPENED. The supervisor, oh so determined to look "woke," and "with it," and the opposite of prejudice, automatically believed the *** lying executive. There wasn't even an attempt to give me the benefit of the doubt, and I had done nothing wrong and didn't make any derogatory remarks - the EXECUTIVE is the one who did.

*** THESE are the sort of people running this organization. THESE are the people who are making decisions about children in foster care and claim they're "helping humanity." These people need to be REPLACED because they aren't even capable of decency within the office, let alone knowing how to best assist children or the handicapped.

And by the way, while I was there, I remember the discussion of a family where the mother had Munchausen's Syndrome, kept bringing a child to the ER with fake symptoms, and Heartless Heartshare didn't remove that child from his psychotic mommy's custody. Again, the people running Heartshare are complete incompetents and they need to be REPLACED.

Pros:
  • Good stated mission
Cons:
  • Incompetent executives

User's recommendation: Do not work for these horrific people!
