Warn others not to buy Health o Meter Scales
- - Health-o-Meter scale showed E and failed.
- - Support moved among Health-o-Meter, Star Elite Group, Sunbeam.
- - Avoid Health-o-Meter; buy a protection plan.
I bought a Health o Meter bathroom scale last year and I have only used it a few times. But recently it started malfunctioning.
It would show a letter E instead of telling me my weight. So I called the Health-o-Meter company and they said the scale is now handled by Star Elite Group. So call Star Elite Group and they said it is now handled by Sunbeam products. So I called Sunbeam products and they said this scale is only handled by Health-o-Meter.
I tried to speak to a manager at Sunbeam but was no option on the phone to do that.
So if you do buy a bathroom scale, DO NOT BUY HEALTH-O-METER.
And if you do buy any bathroom scale,I highly recommend that you buy a plan with it so when it breaks down you can get a replacement without going through all the BS which I went through.
I called 3 places to get help for my malfunctioning scaled and each place referred me to the next one. This is a reflection of bad management; just plain sloppy incompetent management!
