AI Highlights
  • - Used SUV; dealer said exhaust, coolant, and heater core were fine, but antifreeze odor and CO exposure led to $2,500 in repairs.

Went to purchase used vehicle. Asked to have the exhaust inspected, coolant system, heater core.

Mark said everything was good. Drove it home, started smelling antifreeze. Got sick. Next day , heard loud exhaust leak.

Made appt for diagnostics. Took suv in within the 15 day warranty. Called Cardealer, said was my problem. Very rude.

Suv had leaking heater core, cracked manifold, with busted bolt in head. 2500.00 in repair. Had to be repaired due to Carbon Monoxide poison and Antifreeze irritation. Will cost another 2,000.00 ++ to reupholster the seats due to antifreeze on them.

Paid 400.00 for car rental. This could've been avoided if I wasn't lied to about the repairs. Mechanic said these broken parts were like this a long time. Was never inspected.

I feel they owe me for the repairs, missed work due to Carbon Monoxide poison, and car rental.

I'm in a financial hardship due to carpenter lying. I do have all the paperwork, but do not want to share on internet.

User's recommendation: Take the Vehicle yo a reputable Mechanic before purchasing. Don't buy a vehicle there. They all have problems.
