I had started a new business and was in need of a website so I contact Have a Look.

At the start they seemed nice and friendly and mentioned they could build a website that would be custom designed to my needs and would be easy to use.

Well, that was not the case, Once I paid them it took them 12 days to send through a design even though they mention they send designs in 72 hours, the design they sent through was very basic, looked like a template, I wet onto their portfolio and could see there were many websites using the same layout but they just change the pictures and colors, so not really custom designed to my disappointment.

The website took 3 months to build, mind you thins is only a simple 7 page website with pictures about my business and a contact form, not sure why it took them so long.

When I finally did get the website log in details I could see the website was very hard to use, you needed to know "basic coding" to update the website, well they told me at the start it would be drag and drop, so that was false advertising.

I also notice the website sends out lots of spam emails through the contact form, when asked to fix they told me it was going to cost $299 to fix which I thought was ridicules as it would not need fixing in the first place if they did it correct.

Needless to say I ended up stopping the website and getting it built elsewhere, I did not get any refund so I am taking them to VCAT to get my money back.

Found the back end system of their website very hard to use, asking to insert HTML coding into it to make changes is very hard for someone who has never built a website before.

The support is no good either as they tell you to look at you tube videos for tutorials on how to make changes.

Clearly the support or service is not provided by havealook.com.au

If I could go back to the start I would never use havealook.com.au as I have found that their service is next to none.

They give you a website built on their system which is old and outdated and you are locked in with them, I cannot move it to any other web hosting provider and they charge expensive monthly fees.

The overall service and support I have received from havealook.com.au has been terrible and would urge everyone to stay away from these clowns.

I had engaged Have a Look to upgrade our website, their after website support is horrific.

It seems that once you pay them they no longer care about you and just focus on the next sale.

We have tried calling and emailing multiple times without any response and when we do eventually call on a private number they tell us we have to pay for their support when they do mention they offer free support.

Simple things like our emails constantly going down or our website crashing due to slow hosting speed they try to blame us when in fact they are providing our email and website hosting.

It seems that many of the negative reviews on Google reviews about Have a Look are "REAL REVIEWS" and Have a Look just try's to play them down saying that all negative reviews about them are false and that their service is 100% perfect, yeah right guys!!!

If you are after a quality website then do not waste your times with Have a Look.

They have terrible communication, where their call returns are up to 2 days in delay.

Constant issues arise with no resolution as you have to talk to a new employee each time.

We had a website designed and they copyrighted another websites design and content exactly.

It was not until we did our research were we aware of this. 2 months later with no resolution we requested a refund and they have denied this saying they still built a website.

We are now going to Fair Trading over the matter. They were rude and were full of excuses as to why it was copyrighted and riddled with mistakes.

DO NOT USE HAVE A LOOK !!! You will not be happy with the product as the quality is terrible even the links did not work until after a week of emailing to advise them of another issue.

When starting my new business I had contacted Have a Look web design to build my website.

There were numerous problems through the build process. Issues and errors to forever to resolve and there is no one at Have a Look that you call direct to have these resolved.

Instead they have a 1300 number that goes to an message service and then you have to wait and wait for someone to call you back! Ridiculous!!

After paying out thousands of dollars and high ongoing fees, the site we ended up with was so bad that we refused to launch it!

We are still paying "hosting fees" as we still need access to our email addresses but have no website and have been running our business on social media from a self-built Facebook business page instead.

It's been an absolute nightmare dealing with Have a Look and I would give them a zero star rating.

Have a Look website design did not design the website to the way they promised.

They mentioned they provide unlimited rounds of changes but this is a lie, they provided me 2 rounds and then tried to charge me for each round after, this is false advertising as on their website they mentioned they provide unlimited rounds of changes until you're happy.

When I asked for a refund they refuse to give it and made up a lot of excuses.

I would tell everyone else to stay completely away from havealook.com.au as they ignore your emails and there 1300 number they never pick up and block your calls, not even sure if they're based in Australia as when you go to their Melbourne office it does not exist.
