Hattiesburg cycles put a 3 year extended warranty on a side by side that i didn't request cost me a extra 1500 Dollars the warranty company said all i had to do to get my refund is have Hattiesburg cycles subit a cancellation form to them and they have refused to do it costing me all this extra stresd and money i advise anyone to not do business with them

I took my Can Am 800 outlander in and requested for it to be looked over cause it wouldn't start. They called and told me it was starter and batterie plus it needed new gastank.
Then after waiting almost a year for them to finish with it they called and said the motor was seized up. When I tried to explain to them it wouldn't work there service manager David Morgan began threatening me on phone and told me to come by and pick up my four wheeler and that they wasn't even putting it back together.
This is after paying them 1400$ already to fix it. I'm filing lawsuit against hattisburge cycles and service manager.
Can Am spyder Lemon. Dealer service is incompetent
Hattiesburg cycles in Hattiesburg has had my canam spyder roadster 6 times in 1 year for the same condition. The factory is obviously no help or the dealer won't ask for help.
They have had this 23000 dollar lemon for over 80 days total. They have it now and say they can't find what's wrong with it. It runs perfect when the computer doesn't act up. they also seem unwilling to talk about taking it back on trade.
I just want somithing to ride that will operate on a regular basis. Hattisburg cycle is all about selling units, not at all about customer service.
I'm in contact with attorneys to sue the factory for a refund. Don't buy a Canam and don't buy from Hattiesburg cycles

Please never buy anything or get service from Hattiesburg Cycle located at 6412 U.S. Hwy 49, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.
I took a bike in for diagnostics and repairs. The bike stayed there for over 3 months without repairs. I called them and told them I would be by later to pick up so I could take elsewhere. When I arrived, the bike was in a million pieces.
I ask to talk to the owner. He showed up and hammered me and stated that he would not release the bike unless cash was paid.
I ask that the bike be put back together and they refused! Please do but from these folks and never use their service department.

Sounds like you need to go on the BRP website and contact the home office directly. Seems to be a dealership issue.
I know for a fact that BRP/CanAm is all about customer service. This should NEVER happen...
Sorry to disagree with the above posting but my personal experience is BRP has indifferent, horrible customer service. On my first Spyder I purchased an easy self install ki from BRP.
Every part broke, shattered, including installation bolts. Two metal brackets did not break. BRP told me tough luck, wouldn't replace it or give me a discount. Luckily my dealer sold me another set at cost.
My second Spyder, along with all others produced for at least the last 2 years has a life threatining sensor failure condition that thay have known about the whole and flatly refuse to fix it. This condition is not disclosed in detail in owner manual nor do their dealers. I opened a trouble ticket with BRP and it took 2 days for them to fail again. They claimed the failing sensor is a normal condition and will not fix it.
Imagine if this was a car, total recall forced by th US NHTSA? I will contact them on July 28 and report BRP? This failure produces a check engine light warning that changes the color of the entire main display guage to a brigh orange that distracts the rider of the motorcycle long enough to cause a serious or fatal accident with anoth motor vehicle.
In my experience BRB does not stand behind their products, withholds vital information, and I will never buy another product from them, ever.
