The facility I work at is pathetic. They are biased to hispanics and lazy *** people.

They pay sucks, they never hire you full time, just keep you a temp. If you are a hard worker and don't brown nose or not a hispanic, you will never succeed at this place. *** Hartz Mountain! They also don't know the meaning of "quality", it's quantity that they're after.

Their products cone from places like China, Brazil, Mexico, just to name afew. Buy AMERICAN! Don't believe what they're packaging says. 6yyyyyyyyyyuyuuuyyuyuuhfcvjuyfdchjuyfchiitfvji.u uuu u uuu u uu uu u uu u uu u ui i i iii i ii i h.

Hartz Kitten Milk Replacer Killed My Kitten

Please, please, PLEASE do not ignore this review. If you buy this Hartz product, you are playing Russian roulette with your kitten's life.

It seems that many kittens cannot digest this ***. My poor baby kitten, which I had been feeding for four days, died because of this stuff. I am almost sure of it. Call it a "mother's intuition".

When we started feeding her this, she would have the same indications other kittens who died on this stuff had--going into trances, paralyzation, pain, vomiting, greasy poo, bad gas, confusion, lethargy . . . .

and she got like this every time we fed her! I was so harried to get nutrition into her that I didn't suspect the food until it was too late. She wasn't able to digest it right, so she wasn't getting the nutrition she needed. She became too weak and was in too much pain.

My last memories of her was of her extremely disoriented, trying to go off and hide. She just wandered around aimlessly, very uncomfortable, going into trances and passing out over and over again. I ended up putting her in a box with blankets and she just put her head in the corner while still standing. Then she started intermittently meowing loudly and her tail was twitching oddly.

After that, she became unresponsive. She was letting out bad gas (again). I took her to the vet and they put her in an incubator with oxygen (for the second day), and she looked like she wasn't even there anymore. I had been watching her dying all along, and I had to put her to sleep.

I am inconsolable about her death, and I don't want any other owner or kitten to go through this again.

Look into other alternatives, like PetAg's KMR. There are others as well, but I have read that KMR is the best. I only got this *** because it was the only thing available at Wal-Mart, which was where I happened to be at the time. I wonder how different things would be now if I had gone instead to Petco .

. .

. She's now buried in my backyard and she will live on in my memories.

Hartz Mountain

My dog has fleas! I used Hartz Mountain flea shampoo first treated my carpet with powder and bought a Hartz Mountain flea coller.

All was fine for two days, then they were back. I found fleas crawling on my dog's neck right next to the new flea collar. These products suck! People are being ripped off because the watch dogs are asleep or being paid off to turn their heads.

This is typical of many products today.

If you want good results do your homework and spend the money on something that works! In my opinion Hartz Mountain is cheap and doesn't work!

HARTZ FLEA COLLAR KILLED MY CAT

I purchased a Hartz Flea Collar for my cat, Cherokee. I placed it on him on Thursday, by Tuesday he was so sick that a healthy cat for the past 13 years had to be put to sleep.

I incurred Vet bills of over $600.00.

I contacted Hartz Mountain, they agreed to pay the bill, but once they received the bill, they were only offering me $250.00 claiming it was not their fault.

My cat was very healthy prior to that. I am a 62 year old woman, my cat Cherokee was m only companion for 13 years

I've read literally HUNDREDS of stories of pet owners who lost or almost lost pets because of Hartz flea collars, shampoo, etc. Here's a website:

Hartz uses an insecticide banned for use near humans. They have many claims of poisoning pets from their products. Our cat died from poisoning after my wife placed a Hartz collar on her.

My mom just discovered our cats, Quiglie and Cooper had fleas. She went to a local pet store, where the person assisting her had NO clue what he was doing. When she asked “What’s the best thing for severe flea infestations?” He said “Uhh, I don’t know what the BEST is…” So, my mom left and went to our local Wal*Mart and picked up some Hartz, as it seemed to be a good, known name.

She went home and gave Quiglie a bath first, and rinsed her off good. Then loved on her for about an hour to calm her down from the bath. Then once that was done, gave Cooper a bath, and rinsed and dried her good, and loved on her about an hour.

Cooper is THE most loving cat in the world. Will ALWAYS love on you, and cuddle up. My mom read online late last night that Hartz is deadly, so she was VERY worried and stayed up all night keeping an eye on the cats. Quiglie seemed fine. When my mom got up at 5:30 to check on Cooper, and she was in the basement, crouching down, and lethargic. So, my mom brought her upstairs to keep a closer eye on her. Quiglie came over to see what was up, and Cooper hissed at her, and batted at her. SO out of character for her. So, at 8, when the vet opened, my mom called and they said bring her in immediately.

My mom took her in, and she had elevated WBC levels, and was nearly poisoned. Her WBC was elevated due to Toxicity. From HARTZ. Our vet said he’s seen MANY cases of this, and has even had pets come in and pass away at his office due to being poisoned with this horrid treatment!

Luckily, Cooper was brought in in time, but, is now on antibiotics to help the elevated WBC, and to kill the TAPEWORM that the fleas caused.

This is a disgusting product! You can’t tell me they don’t KNOW about this! We need to work together to get this off the shelves, and to make SURE that Hartz hears our anger at their product! Tell them the lives lost and the health problems caused by their product. They’re supposed to HELP our pets, NOT KILL THEM!

DO NOT USE HARTZ!!!

Moth Infested Bird Food

On June 24, 2008, I purchased Vita-Vittles Cockatiel Diet (5 lb/2,26 kg) bird seed for my Love Birds. Since that time my home has been repeatedly inundated with small moths which I have had difficulty in eradicating.

I have been unable to determine their source until recently. Upon feeding my birds this week, I noticed moths swarming within the bag of bird seed. I wrote Hartz Mountain Corp. and their response consisted of their product return policies.

It made no mention of ridding their product of pestilence.

My home's moth infestation is now entering its third month.
