It takes 3 peps to do a refund!??!

Well it was a simple refund for a shower curtain liner. I had returned a blind the week before because some one had cut it and repackaged it for a refund. At the time I assume that I had nothing else to return. After finishing remodeling my new apartment, I found an unopened shower curtain liner so I returned it to the Hart Store, it still had their tag on it! That when it happened the cashier couldn't do the refund cause I had no receipt, she call another person and she said the same thing and finally the third one asked for the receipt and that when I explained again that I had a blind last week and they kept the receipt. Now they offered me the option to purchase something else or they will issue a gift card, you know the type that aren't the same as the regurlar gift card! But was puzzled me the most he looked @ me like I has either stolen or a shop lifter. I realize Kirkland Lake is a very jaded community but seriously it was only $5.99 cdn. I waited while he issued the gift card and off I went! When I got home I was pissed so I cut up the gift card and my point card and wrote them a little note. I them filed a complaint to the head office, they replied and ask me if they can contact me on Monday. Yesterday I was out, when I got home I had a message by the district manager for Northern Ontario, giving a long distance tel#, if they think I'm going pay for a call because they pissed me off. They must be whacked!!! Anyway I will never never shop there again. Thank God for Amazon.ca Pissed off, Dominick Caron
