Question about fuel points

Our fuel points were going to expire before we could use them. The rep was very helpful and moved the expiration date to the end of November.

Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On 07/25/2020 at 10:05 pm at location 500 Oberlin Rd. Raleigh, NC.

I had done my grocery shopping and noticed an item was not properly priced on my receipt. I went to customer service and at first she said they closed at 10 pm and that she could do nothing about it which was understandable. Then she went and checked the item and came back and accused me of being wrong in a very unprofessional manner. She further went on to say Do you want me to show you!

repeatedly. At this point I was very disappointed with her demeanor but complied regardless. She had to push a line of products hanging in front of the price tag to reveal it. There was a similar description and price right next to it, which was the one I had read.

I said you do see why I couldnt see that price, right? She did not acknowledge and made it seem like I had to have magical knowledge of pushing products aside to hunt for the correct prices. As she was walking away I noticed someone else working there, maybe a manager and explained the story. He said Well we cant take anything back due to Covid not even acknowledging the customer service's rude demeanor and further going on saying Well I dont mind if you take another one of the same product.

At that point I did not care for the product, I was dumbfounded to be treated so poorly as a customer. I told him I dont want the product or more of it I want a refund. He said sorry You can trash the product we won't cant do that for you!

After I left the store I noticed that they didnt even hand me back my receipt. I was so shakin due to this incident that I was short of breath.

I have been going to that particular store since 2014, I cannot believe that the people that represent Harris Teeter would be so disrespectful of their customer over a couple of dollars. I had not seen that manager before in the store.

On that particular night I even noticed that some of the produce were molded in their packages esp all their persian cucumbers. Im sad to say that if Harris Teeter does not make this right I will never be going back there ever again.

Mis-price on cash register

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought my groceries on Sept 17 at the store located 1817 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Durham (store #172) and checked out at 5:05pm. The Bubly drink packages had a sign saying 2 for 1. I picked up four packages and got charged $4.99 for a total of $19.96. The correct amount would be $9.98, so I am due $9.98. The ref# on my receipt is 822729 total:$78.78 The bar code on the bottom of the receipt is 910201****700701****0917**** Vic customer # 468******** I thought I made a mistake since I did not see the error until I got home and this price is not in your flyer. Today I went to the store closest to my house in Chatham Downs (15/501) and saw the sale price on the same product. Thank you. Paul Gross

Covid policy of mask wearing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have shopped at Harris Teeter for 30 years. I am concerned about the lack of enforcement of the mask mandate for all grocery stores. I am concerned about shopping at Harris Teeter in Clemmons during this time of the pandemic. I worry that peoples health may be compromised by the lack of aisle markers for social distancing, visible signs for wearing masks, I have not been a witness to the cleaning of carts and have not Heard overhead announcements for practicing Healthy Habits while shopping.

Businesses care about being sued by the family of any employee who is harmed when trying to enforce the mask rules while at work. So, unless the area where the store is located has passed laws and penalties on businesses for not complying, most of them are encouraging, not enforcing mask mandates.

Tell this to the people who Do Not want to wear a mask.

Found glass in my sub

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife purchased me a steak sub on Friday July 24, 2020. While eating my sub i bite down on a piece of glass about the size of a nickel. When my wife called Harris Teeter in Churchland and spoke with a manager he acted as if she was lying and there was no way Harris Teeter could have made such a dangerous mistake. He agreed to replace the food and i didn't swallow or get cut by the glass and i was ok so i agreed to a replacement. When my wife went back to the store to get the replacement a second manager acted the same way the manager my wife spoke to over the phone. And when she told me that i got pissed. We both work and have good jobs and why would we make up a story like that. Face the facts Harris Teeter could have cost me my life had i swallowed that piece of glass. God was watching over me - he is my witness we have no reason to lie.

Complaint

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Customer Svc. Manager was very rude His name is Brandon. A customer was checking out, I put my groceries on the belt. Brandon said I am closed. I said I don't see a sign, he said my light is out, I said all the lights were out. He said you should be standing back by the sign, I said I'm 6 feet back. He refused to help me. Somebody said register 2 is open. I went over to register 2. Brandon walked by and I asked him his name and position with the store. He sad why, are you going to report me, I said yes I am. He starting making excuses why he didn't help. I told him this conversation was over.

How did you place items on the belt if you were 6 feet back? Liar!

You sound like a real piece of work. Don’t come back.

The problem nowadays for retailers is finding employees who have some common sense but don't mind doing the job they were hired to do. Find another store to shop at. You should have complained right then and there to the manager.

So upset I walked out of your crown farm location

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I was shopping over the weekend and I saw some of the prettiest roses for sale @ $6 a dozen. I figured I would wait until yesterday since today is my wife's birthday and I wanted them to be fresh as possible.

There were lots of bouquets with roses on display. The only bucket empty was the $6 bucket. The sign said nobody was on duty and directed me to customer service for help. I went up to C.S.

And asked the woman working if I could get a rain check. For the first time ever I was told no. No, I repeated back in disbelief. She again said no and something about corporate not giving them direction or something like that.

I asked if I could possibly get a discount on one of the other bouquets and she said she would ask. She went in the office and asked and returned shaking her head. I was floored. I walked out and left my cart and went shopping at a competitor.

This is not the HT I started shopping at as soon as it opened.

The customer service blew away all the others. If you were out of something not only did you offer a rain check but employees were empowered to fix the issue with a comparable item as a substitute.

What happened?

Manager refused ro wrte a raincheck

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This week's ad listed BOGO Roast Beef. They were sold out. So I went to self checkout and asked where I could get a raincheck. I was directed to that store's customer service. I was told that because they don't know when trucks will come in, they refused to write a raincheck. So I asked to speak with his boss. The overall site manager arrived and proceeded to tell me it was company policy to not write rainchecks. When I informed him that I had received rainchecks many times previously, he blamed it on COVID. Then I went on a rant about the total lack of customer service. His response was to kick me out of the store and ban me from ever returning. Avoid the Bethesda store at all cost unless you like incompetence!

H.T. not following mask guidelines

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Shopped at Stone crest H.T. in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. Several associates were NOT wearing masks, which is the law in NC at present. Also, not happy that H.T. will NOT enforce the law requiring shoppers in their stores to wear masks. What is the problem? A few other grocery stores here do that and do not let you in without a mask. I have been a loyal H.T. shopper for 17 years, but I may have to change grocers in light of the above.

Incompetent Pharmacist

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I got a bottle of augmentin for my daughter from this pharmacy on 7/5/20 only to come home and find lumps inside the bottle. When I called the pharmacy, I was told to bring it back in (which I did) where they just shook the bottle to mix the meds well.

I have been giving 5mL twice a day as prescribed to my daughter only to run out of antibiotics on the 9th day. When I called the pharmacy they spent a good 10-15 mins stating that I may have given more than intended and that it should have been sufficient. Then he went on to give me medical advice, saying that as a parent he's telling me that it is OK to stop giving antibiotics on the 9th day!! When I told him that it was not acceptable and that I would like to continue my daughters antibiotics for the full 10 days, I was told to go back to my pediatrician and to get a new prescription.

Once the pediatrician faxed the new prescription, he agreed to give a new bottle.

a. You should have mixed the meds well

b.

As a pharmacist, you should not give medical advice when it is not wanted!

c. You could have stopped wasting my time and given me the meds right away!

Horrible pharmacist!

Trashy parking lots

Why are the parking lots littered with trash? When I reported this, I was told it was under contract so no one picks up between the contract days. High quality food and a wonderful place to shop is stiffled by a trashy parking lot. So the contractor only picks up on Tues - what happens each morning when the store opens? Police your area please.
