I could not understand this person, so I'm not sure what I am getting.

I called the number on the catalogue to place my order. She kept talking fast although I told her I was having trouble understanding her. Then she seemed to be trying to sell me some program which I kept telling her NO; after which I Tried to ask her when I could expect my order. She had hung up! Please check on my order placed Sat., Jan. 15th and make sure it is correct. There should be #715921 and 730*** (* set each) totaling $69.98 plus shipping costs. Please NOTHING ELSE.

$10 Rebate turned into a Perks Membership of $14.95 a month

Don't buy from this company. Go to Amazon instead.HARRIET CARTER PERKS: TOTAL SCAM!!!! I purchased something from Harriet Carter's website. There was no problem with this purchase but they lure you into signing up for a $10 rebate. By signing up for it I also unknowing signed up for a $14.95 Perks membership. Found out about it after checking my credit card and didn't understand the charge. I went back to the email they have sent me about the program and I realized that in the bottom of the email in fine print was the mention of $14.95. This is a total scam. Can't believe they are getting away with this. I called them up and supposedly they are going to credit me back. If not, I already feel bad for the customer service rep when they get me on the line. I wonder how many older folks they are taking advantage of!!!

Complaint

When I first placed the ordered, the person I spoke with put the wrong address, even when I had her repeat it. It took several phone calls to correct this. EVERY time I spoke with someone I was charged $46.08 dollars, it would finally go away except for the last phone call. I was asked if I had spoken with someone in the the states. What? Take off the $46.08 charge off of my charge card. NOW

Dissatisfied

Doorbell was ok. $29 item cost me $60 with additional charges. They added sales tax, shipping and handling, priority insurance. Then billed $14,95 to sign me up for a Perks program I did not want, I will never do business with Harriet Carter again. A $30 item cost me $60. Amazon sells them for $15.

Shipping review

Shipping takes too long from Harriet Carter will not be ordering from them again.Not happy at all. It should not take two weeks to get what ordered.

Upset with my order and information

Dear Harriet Carter I placed an order on March 30th. after sales tax,Postage &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;amp;amp; Handling & replacement fee(?) my total was $66.20. I checked my e mail and I was charged another $60.20 on my card. when I called Marie answered. She kept going on and on about fees. I said just tell me where the other $60.20 came from. She informed me that that was a one time fee!. What. I said cancel my order because I was not paying $127 for 3 small items. I then called my credit card company and they said it was credited back to me. I was so angry at the wrong information I was given. I called Harriet Carter back and after being on hold for OVER an hour you disconnected me. #1 I could barely understand Marie but I did hear clearly that she said it was a one time fee. For what ordering from you. Never again. I am sure my phone bill will be high waiting over an hour. Christina Kresmery

Customer very rude, and proceeded to hang- up. Regarding item # 710664 and 180424. Called on 07/24/19 time 3:17 pm. No company name or number showed on phone, Showed unknown caller. Would like follow up.

The cookware is a failure.

Someone called me this evening at 10:30pm from San Jose CA. I wasn't pissed then,I wasn't even pissed when I first wrote you, but I am now. The caller talked to me like I was stupid with his phony english accent, which my grand kids do a much better job at. Telling me have I tried washing with soap and water. Then he puts me on hold to talk to his supervisor. While on hold music played, a guy says your call is important to us please hang up. Then some one else gets on the line with a southern accent, it seemed phony to me. By the time the so called supervisor got on, I was pissed for the way the first man talked to me If this is the way you treat your customers. You should not be in business. The last address I saw was a Las Vegas address. I may be a senior but I'm not stupid and being treated as such *** me off. I wasn't even thinking of a refund I was willing to try another set and see what happened. Do businesses really call people at 10pm? At this point I have no idea what to do. I need to call the BBB? Why should Harriet Carter be responsible for your product?

Quality of cookware in question.

My sister bought this cookware, because I'd been talking about it for so long. I don't think I've Had this set for six months. First the handles on the lids get hot there was no warning of this fact, I burned my fingers. Then I noticed in the 5 qt. after boiling in it a few times it started to turn white, I scrubbed because I thought I'd done a bad wash job. It did not wash? Then my fry pan did the same thing, they are no longer non stick? I don't know if we got a bad set, if that's even possible? But we would like a refund or to try another set, hoping it does not do the same thing, if that happens I will let your product services know. I'm so disappointed, we are both seniors on retirement our money is budgeted, Neither of us can afford this?
