Harper Ford - 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid Review from Hoopa, California

A few wks ago my Optima Hybrid stated Warning do not drive, stop car safely your hybrid battery at risk. So I stopped. Tried to charge it but it wouldn't 't start. Jumped it, same thing. Had it towed to the dealership. 2 days later they tell me my engine ceased up. Warning said nothing about oil or maintainence required !it was 6 mo's since last change. Basically warning on car panel was incorrect. Said it was the battery now they want. $6200 to replace the motor. I still owe $16,000. I'm totally screwed ! Seems to me that should be a defect. When it tells u something other than the real problem. Kia says their not liable. Deal ship took 2 days to tell me motor blown and charged me $365.00 for that info. They can shove their car ! I'll never buy another Hybrid much less a Kia !
