I did not sign up for monthly services (a friend thought she was being nice and sent them to my home).
When I called customer service the person was SO condescending and rude! Very short, very vague and didn't want to help with a solution to cancel and send back the books. She only would answer my questions with yes or no.
They wanted me to pay for the return shipping -- NO THANKS!
It's an expensive scam!!
Buy books from anywhere else!!

Not ordered-but books were delivered
A order of books showed up in mail that I did not order or subscribed to. Need to return. Never ordered but they just showed up.
Preferred solution: Not get but return what was delivered but did not order.

I received an order of HQN Intrgu which I did not order. I had ordered once but did not sign up for monthly order. Wish to cancel & return what I got today.
Preferred solution: I’d like to return books I did not order or subscribe to.

I received my book order last week. as I was reading A Home for the Twins.
Starting at page224 the next page went back to page 33 thru 64. the started again at page257. I would like another copy at no charge. my account number is 70014****.

I signed up for the free one time book delivery, then I started receiving more books in the following months having not signed up for a continuing subscription. I was sent bills in the mail for the books and was told I could mail them back, but I would have to pay postage for the items.
I have contacted customer service and they cancelled my subscription, but refuse to pay postage for books that are not even NYT Bestsellers...

Taking too long to get my books each month
Over the last several months the service has gone downhill! I always order my books the 1st day of the month with expedited shipping. It is now taking about 15 or more days to get my books!

I had found a book from this company and in the book it said that I can send a postcard to get 2 free books and a free gift I send the postcard in the mail and got 2 free books and a bookmark.. I then started receiving books as a subscription it's said in the subscription Box if I sent back the books in with a cancelation note then it would stop me from getting books this was not the case however I started receiving bills for books I received but then sent back very disappointing
Preferred solution: Stop subscription
